Mick Jagger Trolls Donald Trump For Using Stones' Track In Victory Speech

Mick Jagger has hit back at Donald Trump for playing the Rolling Stones song “You Can’t Aways Get What You Want” at the end of his victory speech.

The British rock star poked fun at the president-elect by speculating on Twitter early Wednesday whether he’d be invited to play the 1969 hit track at Trump’s inauguration ball in January.

While Trump would no doubt welcome such a high-profile star serenading him in the White House, it’s highly unlikely it will ever happen.

That’s because the music group is currently fighting Trump’s team over its repeated unauthorized use of its music throughout the election campaign.

Jagger has not commented further on the tweet, but it did prompt other Twitter users to suggest more appropriate Stones songs he could play on Trump’s big day.

“Sympathy For The Devil” or “It’s All Over Now,” anyone?

The estate of late Beatle George Harrison and the surviving members of Queen have been similarly angered by the Trump campaign’s unauthorized use of the groups’ songs.
