Eddie Redmayne Says It's OK To Be A Hufflepuff In Moving PSA

The "Fantastic Beasts" actor is puff-fection.

Boring. Beige. Nice.

These are just a few of the daily “insults” thrown in the face of Hufflepuffs around the world, Eddie Redmayne says in his new public service announcement for Hogwarts’ kindest house.

Though the Oscar-winning actor is no doubt used to challenging roles, his decision to identify as a “proud” Hufflepuff is certainly brave.

“For far too long now, Hufflepuffs have been victimized,” the “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” actor says in a trembling voice for the MTV video. “But you know what? You know what I see in Hufflepuffs? I see loyalty. I see fierce friendship.”

“We are hardworking, we are compassionate, and at the end of the day, we’re going to do the right thing, and not because of the glory. Not because of the glory, but for the greater good,” the actor continues, his voice steadying.

So say it loud and say it proud ― “I am a Hufflepuff.”

Editor’s Note: The Huffington Post was in no way, shape or form paid to write these words by the Coalition For Better Treatment of Hufflepuffs, despite HuffPost sounding very much like Hufflepuff. We have reached out to the houses of Gryffindor, Ravenclaw and Slytherin and will update this post accordingly.
