This Video Goes Out To Everyone Stressing About Thanksgiving This Year

"Yeah you know they're gonna bring up Hillz and Trump."

When political disputes erupted at Thanksgiving meals last year, Adele’s “Hello” came through to cut the tension.

This year, the holiday-loving Holderness family is offering another musical antidote with their latest parody video, “Welcome to My Couch.” A rewrite of Flo Rida’s “My House,” the song provides some ideas for how to deal with heated arguments at Thanksgiving, like “open up the nay nay,” watch football and segue into alternative discussion topics like Brangelina, the return of “24” or the new iPhone 7.

“Welcome to my couch, drink away your feelings, cheer at all the touchdowns and suppress your anger!” dad Penn sings. “Welcome to my couch. I’ll be watching football. I prefer concussions over these discussions.”

Ultimately, the Holderni have a message of unity: “Let’s love each other.”
