Stephen Colbert Gets All Queasy Over Donald Trump's Cabinet Picks

"It's like watching your nana get a sponge bath..."

Watching Donald Trump pick his cabinet is making Stephen Colbert feel nauseous.

On Thursday’s broadcast of the “Late Show,” the comedian likened the experience to “watching your nana get a sponge bath.” “You know it has to be done, but it’s upsetting,” he quipped.

Colbert analyzed the president-elect’s nomination of Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt to head up the Environmental Protection Agency. After describing the fossil fuel-friendly Pruitt as being the “sworn enemy of the EPA,” Colbert advised him to change his phone number “or else he’s going to get some pretty angry calls from himself.”

He also poked fun at Pruitt’s assertion that the states are in the best position to regular local industries.

“Makes sense,” Colbert said. “If Missouri dumps chemicals into the Mississippi River, they just tell those chemicals, ‘Remember, you stop at the Arkansas state line! You’re on your honor, OK? No further!”
