Trevor Noah: Carrier Deal Proof That Donald Trump's A Terrible Negotiator

"Trump paid [Carrier lots of] money and they still sent hundreds of jobs to Mexico.”

Donald Trump’s deal with Carrier to keep 800 jobs from going to Mexico looks good to a lot of people, but Trevor Noah thinks there’s something a little off about it ― “like Trump’s hair.”

On Thursday’s “Daily Show,” Noah explained how the Donald’s deal shows the President-elect is actually a terrible negotiator.

“I love how Donald Trump makes it like, ‘I told Carrier what to do and they did it,’” Noah started. “No, that’s not what happened. They threatened something. Trump paid them the money and they still sent hundreds of jobs to Mexico.”

The Carrier deal has convinced Noah that Trump would be the worst hostage negotiator.

“He’d be like, ‘Come out with your hands! Free all the hostages! No? All right, you asked for it. We’re sending in a million dollars and more hostages!”
