It’s nearly impossible to get through an episode of “This Is Us” without crying, but we can’t help but smile over these new photos of Chrissy Metz.
The 36-year-old stars in a pinup-inspired shoot for Harper’s Bazaar, looking gorgeous in a corset, a swimsuit, a playful polka dot dress and one seriously fierce cat eye.
The actress, who explained to the mag she “finally” has the confidence to pose for a sexy shoot, said she was surprised when she first heard the idea.
“I was like, ‘Who, me?’” she said, adding that the glossy’s desire to feature her this way was “incredible” and “validation.”
If one thing is certain, it’s that Metz has a totally rad and grounded outlook on the way she, her body and her sense of style are perceived by the public.
“If I ever end up on the worst-dressed list, it’s not going to make me fall apart,” she said. “I want to look great and feel good and be comfortable, but at the same time none of this really matters. This is the fun stuff.”
Having fun, looking amazing and maintaining peace of mind? It’s a win-win-win.
