Anne Hathaway Regrets Looking At Pinterest Before Planning Son's Birthday

And we can't say we blame her.

Anne Hathaway knows she should have never looked at Pinterest while planning a party for her son’s first birthday.

On Thursday’s episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Hathaway joined DeGeneres to promote her movie “Colossal” with co-star Jason Sudeikis. During the interview, Hathaway mentioned her son, Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman, had just turned one and that his “low-key” birthday party had a rainbow theme. Then, she explained she made one grave error while planning the event.

“I made the mistake, I went on Pinterest and looked at other people’s 1-year-old parties,” she said. “It’s not fair what some people do.”

Hathaway, who welcomed Jonathan with husband Adam Shulman last March, also expressed some envy of party planners whose kids (probably) have the coolest parties.

“You know party planners have children, which is definitely not fair,” she joked. “Think about it. They blow it out.”

Along with Sudeikis, Hathaway joked about other parenting experiences, including having “baby brain,” changing diapers and being peed on.

Sounds about right.
