After only a week of filming, ABC has decided to suspend production of “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 4 in Sayulita, Mexico, as the company investigates “allegations of misconduct.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. released a statement on the incident, saying:

We have become aware of allegations of misconduct on the set of “Bachelor in Paradise” in Mexico. We have suspended production and we are conducting a thorough investigation of these allegations. Once the investigation is complete, we will take appropriate responsive action.

The show, which brings together contestants from previous seasons of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” to provide them with another shot at finding love, was slated for an Aug. 8 premiere. Now, it seems the series might not air at all.

TMZ reports that the situation allegedly involved contestants DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios, who were both well-known personalities from their respective appearances in the “Bachelor” franchise. The two were reportedly involved in some inappropriate, sexual activities in a swimming pool, according to sources who spoke with Jackson and TMZ. Still, there are varying accounts of what actually happened, which is why Warner Bros. launched a full investigation into the situation and sent the rest of the cast back to the U.S.

Reality Steve (Steve Carbone), a blogger known for his “Bachelor” spoilers, posted a photo of the cast at the Puerto Vallarta airport on Sunday, writing on Twitter that they were apparently being flown to Houston. Jackson and Olympios are not pictured in the group photo.

The new season was set to feature Bachelor Nation favorites, including Raven Gates, Amanda Stanton, Alexis Waters, Taylor Nolan, Robby Hayes, Ben Zorn, Jasmine Goode, Vinny Ventiera and Alex Woytkiw.

HuffPost has reached out to ABC, as well as Jackson and Olympios, for an update on the suspension and situation.
