So What Does a Guy Have to Do to Get Upgraded to "Terrorist"?

So Eric Rudolph is a "serial bomber"? Come on now. Can't we bump him up to "terrorist"? After all, it's not like the guy hasn't earned it.

Let's review:

in 1996, Rudolph bombed Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta. In his words, he hoped "to confound, anger and embarrass the Washington government in the eyes of the world for its abominable sanctioning of abortion on demand." One person died and more than 100 were wounded in that attack.

In January of 1997, Rudolph bombed Northside Family Planning Services, a clinic in the Atlanta suburb of Sandy Springs and a month later, he hit the Otherside Lounge, an Atlanta gay club. Eleven people were wounded in those attacks. In both of these bombings, Rudolph targeted federal agents by placing additional bombs near the first crime scene, set to detonate after police arrived to investigate the initial explosion.

And why did he do it? According to Rudolph, he considered the bombings a "moral duty" to stop abortions from being performed, because the U.S. government "is no longer the protector of the innocent."

So are you with me, MSM? I propose that from now on, you cease referring to Eric Rudolph as a "serial bomber." I think he's earned his place at the grown-ups table, so I move that from now on we refer to him by the title he's worked so hard for -- homegrown terrorist.
