And the race goes on. Hey! Howard better do something, because Hillary will winn the next 4 primaries. Kentucky, oragon, West Virginia By double digits, and Puerto Rico by double digits, and I would say maybe Kentucky by double digits. Yet you may not want to do anything, because Hillary is the only one that can beat McCain.

All true. The DNC however likes to put the weakest candidate in.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 12:14 PM on 05/07/2008

Oh yeah.... that's right. Why didn't I think of that? Let's all vote for the liar with bad judgment on things like wars and the economy because we think we think that the liar with bad judgment will win. And why do we think the liar with bad judgment will win? Because America is mostly bigoted. That's what I call voting with your principles people! If everyone would stop speculating and just vote for the smart candidate with good judgment and a motivating personality we would have the best person for the job.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 06:49 PM on 05/06/2008

Today will be a wash. Obama will eke out a victory, and Hillary will kill him in Indiana, the neighboring state to Obama go figure, a southern state voting for a black man, and a Northern state voting for a white woman. Status quo.

Hey there--

Interesting view from the other side of the "reality divide". Seeing that Senator Obama actually didn't even lose Indiana by 2% (currently, he is behind by 0.8%) I would say it didn't go so swimmingly well. Whoops, Raymondf!

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 02:36 PM on 05/10/2008

Well it was Obama by 15% in North Carolina and clinton by 2% in Indiana Hmmm looks like you should save your money when it comes to betting on political races THANK YOU INDIANA AND NORTH CAROLINA

GOP Gleeful at Obama rocky period

By LIZ SIDOTI "

WASHINGTON (AP) " Republicans can hardly contain their glee as they watch Barack Obama battle through a rocky period. And why should they?

Nothing else is breaking the GOP's way this year. But, at least now, the Democrats' political phenom is tarnished, and, if he defeats Hillary Rodham Clinton for the Democratic nomination, he will enter the general election campaign not only bruised and battered " but also carrying baggage as he faces Republican John McCain.

"We've had a rough couple of weeks. I won't deny that," Obama said Friday.

The Illinois senator has repeatedly had to address " and repudiate " the ranting of his bombastic former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Obama has continued facing questions about his relationship with indicted Chicago businessman Antoin "Tony" Rezko. The candidate's patriotism has been questioned. So has his readiness.

On the eve of a critical Pennsylvania primary, Obama caught flak for claiming that small-town folks are bitter and thus cling to guns and religion. Then he turned in a lackluster debate performance. He ended up losing that primary to Clinton in part because he didn't attract enough white, working-class voters.

Now he finds himself in the midst of competitive contests in two more states. Losses Tuesday in Indiana and North Carolina would further weaken him. Even if he manages to hold off Clinton in those and the final primary contests, Obama would essentially limp to the nomination.

We have so much ammunition to go against John McCain that the man can not win. Even with the republican media and party backing McCain his flip-flopping, and cow towing and kissing republican no-good morons has tarnished his phony persona. McWar is McStupid, McEvil, McOld, McMean, McBully, McVindictive, McSenile and McHateful.

This might be Obama's Rocky period, but it's also the GOP's Ivan Drago period.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 03:47 PM on 05/06/2008

We can only pray at this point that the voters will see that a vote for Hillary is a vote for the GOP.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 11:13 PM on 05/05/2008

Agree. She's with McCain on:
the pandering Gas tax
Going into Iraq
Ramping up to attack Iran
Shifting positions and telling people what they want to hear.
And she's with Bush on being stubborn in the face of facts, never accepting responsibility or admitting fault, and dismissing experts.
She starts most sentences with "I believe..." just like Bush. When confronted with the fact that no economist thinks the gas tax holiday is a good idea, she just said, "I'm not going to listen to a bunch of elitists"..
THEM's REPUBLICAN words....
The Goldwater Girl returns...

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 06:37 AM on 05/06/2008

Based on what? The positions of Obama and Clinton are almost identical, with very few exceptions. If your point is that you believe that Hillary cannot beat McCain, you are bucking against just about all of the polls which say otherwise. She is ahead of Obama when paired up against McCain. For example, Realclearpolitics:

RCP Average
Obama
46.0
McCain
45.0
Obama +1.0

General Election: McCain vs. Clinton
RCP Average
Clinton
47.6
McCain
44.1
Clinton +3.5

As the weeks drag into months people will stop denying that something is wrong with John McCain, that he is prone to more and more "senior moments" and he suffers from untreated PTSD and he's a hothead misogynist who wants to blow up everybody, so even staunch McCain supporters will realize their candidate is f*cking nuts and they will vote for Obama because they will finally get it that Obama's former pastor is nuts, not Obama.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 01:01 AM on 05/06/2008

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 12:02 AM on 05/07/2008

Robertandropolis, If one sits in an organization for 20 yrs that is run by a f....... nut, then that person is also an f............... nut. so your point is? I already know Obama is a nut, all one has to do is read his book and remember all the lies he has told on important isses. Also he has NO policy! he runs on change, but no-body knows what that change is. They couldnt possibly, because he hasnt said, he cant because he doesnt know. All he keeps saying about Hillary is 'same pld Washington politics" when he is actually doing the same old politics, but has his followers believing he isnt. He could no more disown his pastor and mentor than he could his grandmother, which it seems like he has disowed her, he only spoke of her in a degrading way to defend Wright, But when Wright stepped on his toe,s, not the American peoples toes, but his and he saw it could do damage to his campaign, then he was so outraged at his remarks. I hate to break it to all who thinks he is the messiah, but he takes you all for a bunch of fools, He totally insults a thinking person,s mind. So wake up before its too late, please!

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 12:25 PM on 05/07/2008

That kind of wishful thinking is exactly why the Democrats keep losing Presidential elections. McCain supporters don't like Obama. That's why they support McCain. Republicans and Independents aren't going to suddenly see the light and become converts. Clinton is actually the stronger candidate among non Democrats and would give McCain the fight of his life.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 06:27 AM on 05/06/2008

clinton actually galvanizes republicans and make them want to go to the voting boths in droves to vote against her. i dare you to find three republicans who actually like her. and as far as independents who like her? LOL. wow. come on.

Obama's up by 7 in NC, and Hillary by 5 in IN (down from 6 earlier) according to latest RCP averages.

But due to the Bradley factor, Obama's vote will be less.

But then there is also the other factor - don't know what it's called but it's practical political sense. And it will tell most voters that you can't put someone like Hillary Clinton at the top of your presidential ticket if you want to win. She is just to divisive, negative, controversial, etc.

So maybe this factor and Bradley will cancel each other out.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 10:56 PM on 05/05/2008

You have got to be kidding! She is divisive, Give me a break, i have seen more separatism between the races with Obama running as in many a yr. He is the deciever, everything about her has been told and went over with a fine tooth comb, but Obama people dont care what comes up about their little Senator from Illinois. The man doesnt have a clue how to be the president, and people keep saying she has a sense of entitlement, well im sorry, it seems to me Obama is the one with the sense of entitlement. Like its owed to him to be president because he is Black, come on. He hasnt even been in politics that long, The leaders of the terrorist will chew him up and spit him out. But of course they probably wont have too, because i think he has too many terrorist friends, and has a different agenda for America than his followers kno, that is becauabout her policy than they do the person they are voting for. Likdont know what his policies are and what he plans to do if he gets elected. I think its going to be Black or White if he is elected. Mostly Whites, but some Blacks too that dont agree with his viewpoint. And there are a lot of them.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 02:39 PM on 05/06/2008

Again, for effect: YOU LOST.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 02:39 PM on 05/10/2008

Unfortunately, so many Obama supporters, are not interested in the facts; they are only interested with that which compliments their infatuation. For example, prior to Obama's candidacy, most Democrats were of the opinion that Bill Clinton was one of the best, perhaps the best, president since FDR. But, that idea got in Obama's way. He couldn't have the reputation of his opponent"s husband thwart his ambitions, therefore, with carefully orchestrated race cards and lies of all sorts, he has systematically attempted to destroy the legacy of Bill Clinton and his administration. This is Obama's modus operandi; he destroys all that stands in his way. Before he is finished, he will have destroyed the unity of the Democratic Party; he will have set race relations back 50 years; and he will have destroyed the Democratic Party's chance to win the general election and with it, America's chance to recover from the terrible reign of George Bush. But, I guess to him, all these concerns are secondary to his insatiable and ruthless ambition. To see how he stabbed his friend and political mentor in the back to obtain his first elective office, go to this link: ***** http://tinyurl.com/2zwwte

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 11:30 PM on 05/05/2008

Are you serious? "Obama destroys all that stands in his way." You're not serious are you? Name one thing that was "ruthless" and compare that against just about anything Hillary has done and maybe I'll believe you have more than two brain cells in your skull.

$15 million in debt, scaring white voters by mentioning Farrakhan at the debate, using Osama Bin Laden and the possibility of terrorist attacks at 3am. If Obama had "ruthless ambition" he would've been using these tactics himself but he took the high road. The problem is that nice guys normally finish last and if he losses N.C. (he'll probably lose Indiana but not by much) it will be his lack of ruthlessness that will cost him the nomination.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 11:50 AM on 05/06/2008

Yes they are serious, just as i am. Obama is very deceptive and cunning, he has you all under his control with his smooth talk and persuasive speeches, that cause you to overlook the facts about him, or just plain dont care. He is a politician, and he will say or do anything to be elected! read the reply to ugly betty farthur down, he not only stabbed his friend in the back, he made sure the only other man that could beat him was forced to drop out, leaving him to run virtually unaposed. He is a snake charmer and you all have been charmed!

OBAMA: THE POLITICIAN OF "CHANGE": Chicago Sun-Times"A close examination of Obama"s first campaign clouds the image he has cultivated throughout his political career: Obama, who runs on a message of giving a voice to the voiceless, first entered public office not by leveling the playing field, but by clearing it. Alice Palmer, friend and mentor to Obama, served the district in the Illinois Senate for much of the 1990s. Decades earlier, she was a community organizer in the area when Obama was growing up in Hawaii. She risked her safe seat to run for Congress and touted Obama as a suitable successor. But when Palmer lost the congressional race, her supporters asked Obama to fold his campaign so she could easily retain her state Senate seat. Obama not only refused to step aside for the woman who was his friend and had recommended him for the seat, he filed challenges that nullified Palmer"s hastily gathered nominating petitions, forcing her to withdraw. Had Palmer survived the petition challenge, Obama would have faced the daunting task of taking on an incumbent senator. "He wondered if we should knock everybody off the ballot. How would that look?" said Ronald Davis, the paid Obama campaign consultant whom Obama referred to as his "guru of petitions." Davis filed objections to all four of Obama"s Democratic rivals at the candidate"s behest. All other candidates were disposed of by Obama"s challenges. He then went on to win the election.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 12:53 AM on 05/06/2008

No it is not bogus, I have read the same thing from a different source. it is true what is being said, he ran for the Senate in Illinois virtually unaposed. Anyone on the ballot who had a chance of beating him, or surely would have was forced one way or the othar to drop out. the other person who could have beat himwas forced out when his closed supposedly private divorce records were mysteriously placed in a reporters hands. So that is the clean, innocent person you are wanting to put in the highest office we have. He is as Dirty as they come, and my only fear is it will be too late when people realize this!

Yes, I've notice the overstating, also. It doesn't surprise me, though. Until recently, the corporate owned media has been giving Obama a free pass, much like they protected George Bush for so long. It
