Elisabeth Hasselbeck Shows Off New Body On Cover Of Fitness

Just six months after the birth of her second child, The View's Elisabeth Hasselbeck is ready to show off her bikini body.

"Body image has nothing to do with scale numbers, it's how you feel inside," Hasselbeck, who turns 31 this month, told Fitness magazine. "This is the first time I've felt free from that, because I am working out in a way where I feel so strong that there's no room for those doubts."

She adds: "I finally told myself ... 'I've got some curves, I've got a bubble butt, but I don't mind, because it's what powers me forward when I run.' "

It was just about a year ago that she told her 'endearing' little story about using her daughter's diaper to relieve herself in, in the presence of her husband, at the storage unit.

Isn't she a married mother of one? Whats she doing? She has to prove to the world that she isn't pregnant anymore? I don't get it. I would think her husband would be embarrassed to have his wife barely dressed splashed over the cover of a magazine. She isn't a model, or actress-she sits on a talk show.

Hmmm, let's see...the magazine is called Fitness. Mrs. Hasselbeck just had her 2nd child (which if you'd bothered to read any of the text above you'd know that) and she's posing in a bikini shortly after giving birth. What's the big deal. Yea, there was probably some photoshop/airbrush going on, but why can't you just give her credit for being in shape and a fit mother of two?

And if you want to call anyone out for having Mrs. Hasselbeck on the cover of the magazine, given she's not a "model, or actress", then call out Fitness. Frankly, I'm willing to wager that her husband is pretty proud of her and supported her being on the cover.

No, what's weird is how many potshots are being taken at her, simply because she has a differing political view than most of you do, which is unfortunate.

I watch The View when I can and I like the show except for .. well .. Elizabeth. I find her unbearably irritating and a little out of place in that group of rather intelligent women. If they want to have a republican to provide a more balanced conversation it is perfectly fine but they should pick a more intelligent conservative woman. There must be plenty of those out there. Her body looks fine but then again it's just a body.

Yeah look what a nanny and personal trainer can do. I want to hear how people do it w/out those things. Oh yeah she also had a meal plan by a nutritionist?? Whatever....I am tired of these promotions of "regular" people losing the baby weight. These woman who lose the weight fast always have tons of help. I don't want to hear this crap anymore. I lost mine by running five times a week while I was extremely exhausted at 5am.
