Well, sources just told me that Lohan has been un-attached from the independent feature The Manson Girls, written and to be directed by Matthew Bright, and produced by Elie Samaha, Donald Kushner, and Brad Wyman through Junction Films. Production was slated to commence in early July for five weeks in Los Angeles, and everybody was pleased that Lohan was attached back in March. (Some may, or may not, view this true life crime film for her as hitting bottom. Lindsay was to play the part of Nancy Pitman, a pampered surfer girl who became enthralled with Charlie Manson.) But people associated with the movie told agents that Lohan quickly became more of a deficit than an asset when they discovered that they couldn't find any name actresses who wanted to co-star with her.

What a shame, that part was made for her.

Maybe the filmmakers read some of the scathing reviews of Lohan's recent picture about the killer of John Lennon, "chapter 27."

"Visually ugly, morally non-existent and a complete black hole in the departments of insight and wit, Chapter 27 is quite possibly the most godawful, irredeemable film to yet emerge in the 21st century. "

She had such a good part in that cute Tina Fey movie, Mean Girls. OH well....

Did she really star in The Parent Trap, one of the all-time wonderfully goofy, can't-miss-an-airing-when-the-show-it-on-tv movies ever? What film could a parent and a child watch together and enjoy more? (Fans of Pulp Fiction don't respond). I'll always be gr ateful to her for that gift.

"...they couldn't find any name actresses who wanted to co-star with her." They were all afraid she'd steal their clothes.

That could be the best thing that's happened to her in years. Another Manson movie? Just what we don't all need. Gross.

turns out lindsay was creeping out even the serial killer-obsessed writer and director. she managed to out-manson the mansons.

A role is what you make it. I wish the entire production well. It will be a difficult role to play unless you've had experience with drugs.

Lindsay was in a movie I unfortunately saw (long story) called I Know Who Killed Me, or something like that. I did not know very much about her at the time, but all I could think was how untalented and homely she was. Then she bared her breasts for some magazine, and I realized she was just plain desperate. I think she needs to take a long rest, perhaps look for a project where she can redeem herself.

Because today's generation loves gore. They' were plunked down in front of a televison/dvds
and that's all alot of them know for entertainment.
I totally agree with you, why bring all of that up again. Wasn't Phil Specter enough?

Why anyone would want to make this movie is beyond me.
About the only way it would work is if you had Britney Spears, and Paris to be the other murders.
I lived this period in real time and it was horrible back then, why bring it up now?

They make this movie , and all the other remakes they have been putting out in the last 10 years because they have no talent to write movies anymore. They have to remake movies and on top of that, they ruin them by using their no talent writers to "update" them.
