Clinton's aides this morning offered reporters' a PowerPoint presentation that mirrors the key case to uncommitted superdelegates: that her support among rural, elderly and Hispanic voters make her a stronger top of the ticket for endangered Democrats. (The 20 districts referred to above are those of freshman members whose districts went for Bush in 2004.)

That's the most important consideration for many members of Congress...though at this point members considering endorsing Clinton also have to worry about getting hit with attack ads for having endorsed both Clinton and Obama this cycle.

Power Point, not Keynote? Well she's lost my vote ...

She's using elitist graphics and "expert" analysis by pulling out a power point presentation. Annie Oakley should pull out her .45 instead -- 'cause that's how White workers would do it -- in Hillary's racist fantasy world.

I don't know how anyone can look at that pitiful presentation and not be thinking, "she's toast."

I'm in one of her "stronghold" districts- NC11. Hillary won this district in the rural counties, but Obama won by 11 points in the only county with a city, Asheville. Those other counties are going Republican in the general.

Her "rural white voter" appeal is a complete fabrication. They are primarily Republicans. Our "Dem" representative is a pro-gun, anti-abortion Dem....hardly a Dem at all. These counties are certain to go Republican in the general election.

Our best hope to win a general election is to go with Obama, who has put the urban, youth, educated, and AA vote on steroids. I've never seen voter enthusiasm like Obama has generated. We registered 1,000 new voters at Barack the Vote in Asheville in ONE NIGHT- and our city's population is only 70,000.

This week, one argument, next week, a different argument, the week after, something else. I am certain that they will trot out more smears and innuendos against Obama. It is how they operate. Don't they have any moral compass? Or at least some ethical values? It certainly does not appear so.

She's tried everything but saying that the alignment of the stars in the heavens means that God wants her to be president. Ooops, was that next week's argument? Sorry.

Good Lord was this the first PPS they've ever done? you don't make the slide transfer separate from the first block of information on a slide. If every slide is essentially blank before I execute a mouse click the whole show looks completely half assed, perhaps quarter assed.

Yet she probably paid millions for it.

It occurred to me that this was exactly the same one that was presented to the reporters, if that's the case it no doubt would have had somebody talking over the initial click. But you don't then just send that version out to anyone.

It's the small ineptitudes that are the most depressing.

Clinton's next strategy to the superdelegates: "Please, Please, Please make me the nominee. IF you don't me and my supporters will hold our breath until you do"

LOL

This is so tacky of her.

she is a powerful democratic with lots of support - but she is not the winner or the nominee (presumably) SO she will of course do everything she can to make sure her support base follows the party's nominee to the WH - RIGHT???

(clinton supporters plz chime in - here and to her directly)

What is worse than electing a dumb president?

Electing a president who thinks he or she is smart, and everyone else is dumb.
