Schumer is praying that Clinton will go to Washington so that he can be New York's big dog. He's loathesome.

MRS Clinton on the Supreme Court. Great another job she has no experience at and her judgment as evidenced by her campaign simply sucks. Why does this mediocre mendastic have to be given anything except the boot?

Why do starry-eyed Dems keep acting like the values, worldview, and aims of Clinton are anything like those of Obama? Is Schumer crazy? And who among us believes that, if Obama offered Clinton the VP slot, Bill would stay in the background? This campaign has shown all of us what the Clintons are like. You invite them over for one barbecue, and they won't go away. They don't know the meaning of BYOB, yet here they come, every weekend... We have problems to solve. We don't have time to be distracted by more Clinton games and affairs and shifty business deals. If Obama took on the Clintons on his ticket, that would be the move that would ruin his presidency. He's smarter than that. His VP will be Bill Richardson or Chris Dodd. Why take Clinton and her tattered campaign of nay-saying and exasperation, when he can have his pick of more energetic candidates?

I say this not out of hatred of the the lady, but seriously, what does she bring to the ticket? She doesn't have any foreign policy experience, has shown poor understanding of economic policy (i.e. gas tax holiday), limited experience in authoring any serious legislation, and no leadership positions within the Senate.

Plus when you include in all of her negatives- 60%+ of the country feels she is not trustworthy, a serious gaffe without a heartfelt apology to the veterans regarding Bosina, I honestly don't see how this would be a benefit to the country or the Democratic party to have her on the ticket. She really doesn't have the experience required for that office. I may be mistaken, but I just don't see how this would be anything but a disaster to have her on the ticket.

Will everyone please STOP THIS CRAP ABOUT A UNITY TICKET?! Stop it! It's NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! Geez, find something else to be all OCD about, she is not going to be on the ticket! After her behavior, I'm amazed she's still in the Democratic Party.

The real Democratic Party, the DNC and superdelegates, have realized that Senator Barack Obama is a wimp that takes orders from Michelle and can make pretty speeches. In order to make the "Change" that he has promised, he will need an "Enforcer". Who is better qualified in that role than Hillary Clinton. After all, you Obama supporters hate her for it but that lady is tough and strong. Since Obama doesn't really have the magic wand you think he has, that is the only way he will be successful at making any changes in Washington. That's also the only way he can get the votes of us, "un-educated, unclean, white voters". Face it Obama supporters, that is the only way to mend the Country and beat the Republicans in November.

DemocraticRN, have you seen this blogger's article?

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/stephen-ducat/revenge-of-the-wimp-facto_b_101412.html

We are sick and tired of men (and women) who have overdosed on testosterone.
The world is in sore need of enlightened leadership. Enough with the hating and perhaps there should be an embargo on the word "tough" an overused word. Toughness is no substitute for a reasoned and compassionate approach to issues.

Your image is that Obama needs a dominatrix riding and whipping him. Obama would be completely out of his mind to let that happen (bad dream team). Talk about people addicted to their own misery.

BTW the furor about political correctness in the 1990s came from your demographic and was brought about because people of color and women started to demand for respect in public discourse. Now the country is scrambling to look for a politically correct language for another group. PC has its merits.

Not over yet.Obama reminds me of the football team that lets up and celebrates before the fourth quarter starts. He better get back to work because the Hillary express is coming and after the litigation is over we will see who is still standing.

LOL....you think Clinton can find a court that will give her the nomination? You got some serious delusions there Hoss. Not your everyday, run of the mill, "wish this were true" type delusions. No, you got the "put this guy under observation and adjust the meds" delusions. I can see you posting after he wins the presidency, saying, "it is almost over rnow, he will have to give it to Hillary once ________happens."

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 01:25 AM on 05/13/2008

Is Schumer really serious about Obama and Hillary on the same ticket????? She would drag Obama down. Maybe Schumer wants Obama to lose so Hillary can run again in 2012. Hiillary should not be allowed on the ticket for November.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:43 PM on 05/12/2008

Clinton can erase all this negative campaigning and perhaps even restore her rating by fighting to ensure that Obama is the next President thats how she can go out with class and on a high note.

Perhaps... In some alternative universe, far, far away, where Hillary is actually a nice person.

I think that would be asking for too much - LOL!

I really haven't forgiven the fact that Schumer was the one who pushed through the Mukasey nomination....so now everything he says is pretty much crap in my book.

No way we will stand for Obama being stuck with a losing ticket like this.

DLC go to hell. Now. Dont come back.

Your days are over!

Sen. Schumer do you understand the meaning of the word CHANGE?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 09:47 PM on 05/12/2008

Time to go to the house, Chuckwagon. The New York minstrel show has run its course for this season.

Maybe you, Hillary, and Rangel can get together and go count of the votes you hid during the NY primary. Gives ya something to do before being called out to do something.

Absoutely. We don't want them here in NYC. Crooked... as the day is long..How is it possible that 60 or so districts in Harlem had 0 votes for Obama. Not 1 !!! More campaign fraud that won't be sorted until after November. Yes please lets see them go count those votes. I call shenanagins!

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 11:16 PM on 05/12/2008

I agree. Will that ever be investigated , or will NY just pretend that predominantly black districts voted 100% Clinton? Or is this going to be another Clinton fiasco swept under the rug like so many others?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 01:28 AM on 05/13/2008

Schumer is probably just dreading have to deal with a sulky, vindictive Hillary back in the Senate.

Obama has run a nearly flawless campaign so far. I BEG him not to fruck it up now by putting Clinton on the ticket.

25% of Republicans voted against McCain in PA, and noone was campaigning against him!! Let's not rile up a sleeping tiger by putting Clinton on the ticket.

They are demoralized, so lets keep it that way!!!

AS IF he would want to. More a matter of them twisting his arm.

They have to know we will not stand for it.

He must be free to choose someone he wants!

He should be ashamed of him self.

it'll take more than this to shame any DLC type.

They have to lose all influence or Obama will be hobbled.

Them AND AIPAC.

These are the forces holding us back from a new world!

Sorry Chuckes, but HIllary is a loser like you. Thanks for confirming Mukasey as attorney general. We won't forget.

Nobody wants a LIAR like Hillary on their ticket - her purpose is to upstage Obama - Hillary and Bill are two people who need to go away - they are both LIARS - Only idiots (WVa and KY) would vote on a loser - it's clear that Hillary is angry and what sane person would want her to stand beside them who has purposely tried to damage them and divide the democratice party based on race - If Obama picks that woman as a VP, he will lose - because that's how much his supporters despise her - If he wants to lose, then he can go ahead and pick that woman - she's poison - If Obama can't win on his own then he does not deserve the presidency - Hillary is no fighter - she's disturbed and destructive - those who call her a fighter really don't want to say exactly what she is -

Obama better talk about it very soon after she (Hillary) finishes her horse race in the next 3 weeks if he intends to pay her debt because his supporters will not contribute to his campaign if he's going to pay that horrible Hillary's debt -

I think Chuck's upsides far outweight his downsides. He is just coming from fear and the old school paradigms which ended up neutering civil servants and rendering them replicants over time.

Many people do not yet get this and are quoting stats from a hundred years ago re such as West Virginia's place in the general.. Cut him some slack. He is better than most. I voted for him. OK, I also voted for Hillary. We were OK with her in the Senate. Down the road.....maybe OK as long as she takes her meds.

I voted for both too and they both suck. Both in bed with AIPAC.
