Meet The De Rothschild Trying To Save The World By Exploring It

Some years ago, the 29-year-old British explorer David de Rothschild endured that universal male ritual of telling his father what he wanted to do with his life.

It could have been potentially awkward because 1) his father is Sir Evelyn de Rothschild, former captain of the British branch of the fabled family banking empire, and 2) David wanted to save the world rather than buy and sell it. "I started in natural medicine and for a while my dad was like, 'You're a naturist?'" de Rothschild recalls. "And I'm like, 'No, no, I'm a naturopath. Naturists get naked and run around the woods. I'm sure that's kind of fun, but, um, no.'"

Sure, with his shoulder-length hair, trustafarian beard, and faded Converse sneakers, de Rothschild could be mistaken for one of those patchouli-scented dudes praying for a Phish reunion tour. But as he explains his grand designs over breakfast at San Francisco's Clift Hotel, it's clear that exploring the globe is only the first step in his quest to improve it. Not content to simply brave the Arctic Ocean, be the youngest Brit to reach both poles, and set a speed record for traversing the Greenland ice cap, de Rothschild has added a green twist: He started Adventure Ecology, an organization that shares his expeditions with kids and tweens on the Web to spread environmental activism. The idea is that they'll tell their friends, teachers, and parents. Call it trickle-up eco-nomics.

David de Rothschild is a child of privilege and it's no surprise that high adventure would appeal to someone with a silver spoon up his backside! The real question is does David de Rothschild understand how his family controls the worlds banking resources and how it helps to control the direction that industry is taking mankind? David may be tagged the black sheep of the family, every family has one, but the only real question for someone like him is what's he going to do about the family empire?

Sweet. A scion of one of the most notorious families in the history of the world gets his PR plug here on HuffPo. If he wants to make the world a better place he should start by sterilizing himself. The last thing this world needs is more of the same families that have been controlling things from the beginning.

The greatest parasitical entity the world has ever known are the central banks that control the flow of blood (money) around the world. How much you want to bet this 'explorer' has no problem with the schemes the IMF and World Bank impose on underdeveloped nations from Southeast Asia to nearly the whole of Africa. They say "here take our loans, oh you don't want that much money? it's fine take it anyway. we'll be taking your water, oil, food production, and hell we'll even take your trees. just sign here. think of all the guns you can buy. you'll be in power for ever."

That's alright though the ignorant masses will give him a free pass because he's 'good looking' and cares about 'climate change', and hell he's even an 'explorer'. When the reality is that he is none of the above and was born with a platinum spoon in his mouth. His ends will justify his means.

Though, in my youth, barely two decades ago, I would never have dreamt how eager modern, "enlightened" people would prove to straightly return to the darkest of feudal, superstitious middle ages. Boy, how naive I was.

I am still trying to accept the daily shower of insanities from the "news outlets" as some kind of comeuppance for such blithe sentiments and hope against hope that God will grant us spoiled and brainwashed Westerners an END to our global domination, soon. In order that we may start coming to our senses.
