Very odd, living in Minnesota we have had a cool wet spring and just touched 80 for the first time this weekend.

Not in Ohio. The entire month of May was BELOW average and this week we didn't get out of the 60's until today.

Global warming honks will say whatever it takes to push their stupid agenda of world socialism.

We're not buying it!!

This spring has been below the 114 year average temp in the USA. Crops are behind. Yet the USDA still forecasts record crops. The current June 12 data, shows the crops are behind due to cooling. Food will be the issue. Focus on lack of food, not warming.

Well this comes after one of the coldest winters on record.

But whenever I bring this point up, the greenies tell me I'm confusing weather with climate.

Even though there has been no warming for the past ten years.

No timmy, your confusing short term fluctuations with long term trends. And you should find out why there's been no net warming for the past ten years. Cause you clearly don't know. I'll give you a hint, brush up on your spanish.

"your confusing short term fluctuations with long term trends"

My point exactly.

So explain to me why the "Seventh Warmest Spring Ever" is a long term trend,

while ten years without warming is a short term fluctuation.

You sure like them cherries!

It's useful to keep in mind that as you add heat to a system, not only does the average temperature increase, so too does the entropy of the system. This means that things get more chaotic, less ordered, and, yes, more extreme. Just like water boiling in a pot doesn't simply get hotter, it also bubbles and roils.

Meanwhile, my wife's family in Colorado went skiing for the first time ever in June.

There has never been a year the Earth didn't experience extreme weather conditions.

And the fact that some people say the temperatures haven't been this hot in 100 years means only one thing: 100 years ago it was hotter.
