The head of the Log Cabin Republicans, the gay Republican group, has confirmed to the GayPatriot that he held a private, and secret, meeting with John McCain:

GayPatriot has exclusively learned that presumptive Republican Presidential nominee Senator John McCain held a personal meeting with the head of the national gay Republicans organization, the Log Cabin Republicans. Log Cabin Republicans? I thought All Republicans were "log cabin"--after all, "Log Cabin" is an obvious reference to Abraham Lincoln, founder of the Republican party, no? Why should gay Republicans feel they have some special proprietary rights to the concept?
