Guy Ritchie's Mom Denies Madonna Divorce Rumors, Sting And Trudie Counsel

"There's no conversation about divorce because there is no divorce," Lady Amber Leighton said.

Last week, Madonna, 49, was reported to have met with celebrity divorce lawyer Fiona Shackleton, who most recently represented Sir Paul McCartney in his divorce proceedings against Heather Mills.

Madonna's spokesman had no comment on the reports at the time....

Lady Leighton said she now felt compelled to speak publicly because a week's worth of divorce speculation in the press had "pained her".

"They are no different to most other couples and we all know that being together can be hard sometimes and marriages are not always a bed of roses," she told the Mail on Sunday. "I'll say it one more time, they are not getting divorced; the speculation is TT - that's total tosh."

Guy is believed to have spent several nights at Police frontman Sting's sprawling country estate. And he has been spotted with the singer's wife Trudie at a nearby pub.

Local Sandra Peacock said: "They were drinking what looked like shandy, and were talking in hushed tones.

"Guy looked upset and Trudie appeared to be comforting him.

"They had a couple of drinks and were talking for ages. It looked quite serious stuff."

So where was Guy Ritchie, rumored to be splitting with Madonna? Although the British Sun tabloid had an unnamed source saying he was going to fly to New York in an effort to save his marriage, Ritchie was seen Saturday in London, also attending a Kabbalah meeting.

He was then seen meeting up with Trudie Styler (Sting's wife) back at his London home, and they drove off together.

Guy hopped a plane Monday bound for New York, not wearing a wedding ring.

I don't understand why they are still denying it? I just read an article on www.firstwivesworld.com, that confirms that Madonna did hire a lawyer. What's the point in denying it? If they're getting a divorce just like lacitepq said, that will just make them a part of the other millions of people that are getting or have gotten divorced.
