Obama: I'm "Sufficiently Boring"

What's it like to have round-the-clock press coverage?

Barack Obama says it's taking a little getting used to, but that he takes comfort in the fact that, after hours, there's just not that much to see.

For many months, of course, the Democratic presidential candidate could hardly sneeze in public or frolic on the beach without somebody broadcasting or writing about it.

Give me a boring, competent government official over an interesting, incompetent one, anyday. Bush and McCain are great for the late night comedy shows; every time they open a mouth to say something, they show how tragic and ridiculous they really are. If we could have someone who is just a good, sensible, intelligent President, instead, how much better off we would be!

The Obamas paid for their house themselves, bought a strip of the lot next door for MORE than fair market value, and have no connection to Rezco's legal troubles. NONE. So enjoy saying "Rezco" to yourself. I hope it gives you a nice warm feeling, but it's just a nonsense word. There's nothing wrong with having a big fine house---HRC has two. I grew up near the Chappaqua one: VERY nice. Obama wrote a best-seller, Mrs. Obama is an executive. They worked hard to afford their house. Why does it bother you so much that they have a nice house in the suburbs? Hmmm?
