Eh, it was pretty funny. The Bambi and unicorn bit made me giggle, though lol.

This is so weak compared to BushSex.

LOL@ O with Bambi's friends.
I despise this so called Jib Jab.
It is not fun. It is not funny.
Forced humor. None of it was really funny, and it doesn't rise to satire.
Satire-lite. Good satire makes you uncomfortable...and it doesn't include unicorns.
Didn't you know? Cotton Candy clouds and the protection of Unicorns are major initiatives in Obama's campaign promise lists. Along with Utopia and "everything's perfect scenario" which his "change" rhetoric will bring. Yes, yes he can.
ya know the O with a unicorn was funny, but if you notice, the world that O was in was nice and clean and happy, and the old mans world had war, and hills was full of commie flags..
i prefer O world to the rest...
O for 08
Yes, so do, apparently, leprachauns, trolls and hobbits. Elves are a sort of chastised race in that world. Nonetheless, they have a very strong connection with the natural world around them. Which is good. That's a good thing.
At the beginning of that scene it sort of reminded me of Bambi ... or the story of Snow White, a fairy tale. The artists were interviewed today on TV and said they got the idea from when Bill Clinton once referred to something Obama said as a fairy tale.
Yes, opposite extremes. Obama more childlike, McCain more old military guy-like.
But as Aristotle once said, to be successful, one must try to stay on the middle road.
I guess that's why they are both trying so hard to get to the political middle.
Personally, I think the video is brilliant. Artistically I can imagine all the thought and work that went into creating it. I give it an "A".
This one actually made me laugh for a bit. Everything was spot on and jabs were pretty much evenly distributed. McCain and the Clintons probably got nailed the worst, especially Bill. Anything relating to Bush is irrelevant at this point, since he's already a living parody. There's nothing funny about the last eight years. Nice video, though.
That was freakin awesome.
Obama on a unicorn. That just never gets old.
"Obama on a unicorn. That just never gets old."
I want it as a screensaver. It's just so on0target.
Well, look a lot of people here and elsewhere will blast it as being too middlebrow and safe, but this is much more the type of humor that most voters actually find funny.
Which is also why most voters voted for Bush last time. They aren't very bright.
I have to add my two cents worth also. It is a great piece of video and a great satirical piece as well. I first saw in on Keith Olberman this evening and have not stopped laughing every time I see it. The production values are first class and the lyrics are also first class. All-in-all great work and even better fun.
...and I can't get the song out of my head...
"Should "CHANGE" occur in November as polls indicate, we should see a lot of people from Illinois moving to Washington, D.C., and taking key spots in an Obama administration. Now is the time to anticipate these changes."
The pitch by Dan Shomon, who was political director of Obama"s successful 2004 campaign for the Senate, is part of a growing effort by some supporters and associates of the senator to profit from his political success " and the possibility that he will be president of the United States a scant six months from now.
"We will be in Washington, D.C., August 4, 5, and 6, and we"re interested in scheduling a meeting with your government affairs team to discuss the changing political landscapes and our services and capabilities," writes a partner in Dan Shomon Inc., a consulting firm based in Chicago.
Great video...I loved it!
And the rainbow Barack and his unicorn creates...perfect! A rainbow after a long, hard storm.
...Keeping in mind, of course, that a rainbow is an optical illusion.
Now,that is satire at its best...Thanks!!! Jibjab
Political Satire at its finest and one of the funniest things I've seen all year.
How can you tell when it's a great satire? When you laugh at the part poking fun at the candidate you support wholeheartedly!
