Poll: Obama Holds Solid Lead In Ohio

A new Public Policy Polling survey shows Obama with a solid 48-40 lead in Ohio:

Obama trails McCain 46-42 among white voters, but his 91-6 advantage with African Americans gives him the overall lead. "Right now Barack Obama is in a pretty good position in Ohio," said Dean Debnam, President of Public Policy Polling. "His standing with black voters is not surprising, but he is also doing unusually well with white voters in the state. Whether he can sustain that level of support or not will probably determine if he can take this state."

Obama held a similar lead in PPP's Ohio polling last month.

"Done for you?" I guess that is the real difference between the parties, Dems want the government to do things for them, Reps want to do things for themselves.

Since you are retired you should have plenty of time to read up on the issues you listed and please broaden your reading list beyond The Huf Post. Some basic economic theory would be a good starting point.

I'm a white dude and I am horribly embarrassed by with my ethnicity and gender in almost every election. I just don't understand why white guys still supporting the Republican party that has devastated this country. It's not just the fact that 0bama is African American either. A Democrat has not won the white vote and especially the white male vote since LBJ was elected.

Face it every other demographic group votes for Democrats. Women, African Americans, Latinos, Jewish People, Muslim people Asians and Native people all vote Democratic. So in essence every time a Republican wins an election only one demographic group wins.

Another poll, another meaningless poll. The race in Ohio is much closer that this poll implies. Add the voter fraud this state will undergo in the general election and you have a Red State on election night.

Hillary knew better than anyone that this was the year to run...against McCain, I'm sure she felt like it would be a sure-thing for the democratic nominee.

Telling people Obama was unelectable was just one of many gaffes on her part to try and stop something that appears to be nothing short of a Movement! Add 60 senators to the mix and we might just see America really grow as a nation!
