UPDATE: Edward's knocks Clinton for getting emotional on the campaign trail:

Edwards, speaking at a press availability in Laconia, New Hampshire, offered little sympathy and pounced on the opportunity to bring into question Clinton's ability to endure the stresses of the presidency. Edwards responded, "I think what we need in a commander-in-chief is strength and resolve, and presidential campaigns are tough business, but being president of the United States is also tough business."

Read about the original incident and watch the video below:

Hillary Rodham Clinton's eyes welled up and her voice broke repeatedly Monday as she talked with voters in a restaurant about her campaign for the presidency.

The former first lady was making a last-minute pitch for support as she spoke on the eve of the state's primary, with polls showing her trailing Democratic rival Barack Obama.

Asked by a sympathetic voter how she keeps going in the grueling campaign, she replied, "It's not easy. It's not easy."

"And I couldn't do it if I just didn't, you know, passionately believe it was the right thing to do," she said, her voice catching.

To suggest that women came out in droves because of Hillary Clinton's tears, is an insult to women. Think about it. The mainstream media has blundered on this one, suggesting that women would choose our candidate because of she cried. Do you really think that women are that bubble-headed? This is ridiculous!

We need good, kind leaders to preserve our good image and set a good example here and abroad. Whom will you select?

With all these campaigns just think if all this money given to American election campaigns by supposed Americans from lowest unto the President's office this would pay for our Treasury debt, supposed Social Security debt, and for job seekers and poor. If our leaders would do a fund raiser for the people they're suppose to serve then this would solve our financial woes. If everyone in America gave $2.00 every now and then this would solve all our financial woes as well.

In Jan and April 04 I sent Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger which he ignored (Hann gets his mail) my scarce food, jobs lawsuit of 97 which my reps, Courts ignored too and the fact in my neighborhood with grocery store owners' signatures stating they no longer take EBT Food Stamps which means I cannot buy fresh meat nor EBT card.

Furthermore, Gov. Schwarzenegger knew money was not spent for job seekers, poor as I sent him documents of proof of this in 04, and yesterday on T.V. they put the Gov. Schwarzenegger is now going to cut uncompassionately more Benefits for the unfortunate,Blind, those needing dental care so they don't die if can't have a tooth pulled nor elderly care given.

The EBT Food Stamp machines are dirty and break a lot. They're attached to phone, machine paper, and ATM machines and one cannot use them then. Sfc City rule says one cannot have hot food. How cruel to ignore ones needs for Food Stamps. I had quit evil, corrupt jobs as a Christian. The Bible says there are those who have money, but always want more and more. What bothers me about the coverage of this moment is not only the exaggeration of what happened but how it wasn't really ever put into context.

Her candor, alone, would not have meant much to me had I not watched the debates and seen the obvious sexist tactics that flowed from Obama as well as Edwards. I doubt either man even realizes that was obvious. As a woman, however, I had an instant "moment" of direct empathy for Hillary Clinton, having experienced many similar "moments" in my own life when trying to discuss issues with some men.

That was the setting. Then came the candor. And....that's why the moment was so credible.

Please people let us remember that it was she, Senator Hillary Clinton, who brought up the decency of healthcare for all, but you did not give a darn about other people dying did you. Even the Bible supports her position:

Psalm 41 I will heal him on his sickbed and cure all his ailments if he is kind to the poor." King David on Thanksgiving and Sickness.

You don't even care about the job seekers and my Job Rights and the poor since you put in LAWS as Welfare Reform Bill of 1996. You don't even know like gods all the problems and crueties going on in life so one needs no time limit on Welfare. Cato Institute,Wash DC lied and exaggerated terribly about the money given to homeless that they get oh so much and a lot of money but this is a lie. Even Elliot Liebow in his 93 book states,"Closing down shelters in Wash DC and in cities around the country in name of economy is criminal,self-defeating, and dumb. Welfare gives meager money to homeless." Cato Institute, Wash DC lied in congressional budget report given out to all libraries when putting in Welfare Reform Bill of 1996. Now on radio lying about Social Security and trying to privitize it. I quit evil, corrupt jobs. I presented this on radio back in 2001, but you all ignored this. Don't pretend to be dumb now. I put this on internet even when you had every reason to believe as witnesses, case no., I'm in Army, and my own address, but no one even wrote me to help me nor the suffering homeless. I was right all the way and now look at you. Eva Hart Christian Army 62-70 670 Eddy St. Sfc 94109

Although I have not decided who to vote for yet, I want to mention that we need to consider Saving America and who best can do this for Americans.

By definition most people are of average intelligence, determination, and ability. It is by its ability to give a decent life to all the masses for average people and for those below average that a society is to be judged. Elliot Liebow,Jewish Anthropologist, writes in his '93 book. Furthermore,in my scarce, few food, jobs resources in U.S. in 97 lawsuit refused by my reps, courts Elliot Liebow confirms my few, scarce food, job resources in his '93 book.

A GOOD MAN CARES FOR OTHERS

This hermit does not pay for what he gets because he enjoys all the comforts of civilization that he owes to the efforts of others, but contributes nothing himself. He does not interest himself in the problems of society--in the poor, the suffering, the struggling. He is a distastefully self-centered man. Therefore I neither approve of him nor respect him. Again, we must be careful who we choose for President thus upon criticizing Senator Hillary Clinton let's be correct. Like anyone of us she had a normal, human response to losing the first elected caucus of people who voted.

To continue my Jolo Island article from above let me add that a Juramentado or Amok is worse than fanatical religious extremism and goes back to the Holy Wars against Christians when a Moslem after purification at Mosque would then seek to kill the first Christian he saw and as many thereafter until he was killed himself. A Martabat is when he is hurt and cannot take anymore hurts. They must let us know these customs so we can heal them.

Alexander the Great after conquering Egypt wisely respected the conquered peoples' religion so says the historian. We must respect, understand others customs for Peace Beteen Nations. Wisdom 6,"the Safety of the World Lies In Many Counselors." Eva Hart Christian Army 62-70 670 Eddy St. Sfc 94109

Clearly, when President Bill Clinton was President there we never an attack againt our nation. It was only when President Bush came into office the terrible 911 attacked occurred. I think someone did not like him. Thus, for the sake of Saving America we must choose someone who is likeable and can sway men like President George Washington who it is said had the auro and magnetic charisma that swayed men.

Senator Hillary Clinton is on the Armed Services Committee and although I haven't decided who to vote for yet we must consider first millions and millions of Americans' safety to Save America, not Iraq, but America. It is a Government of All Americans!!

Before Roger Williams' reasonable and humane policy the War-cloud melted away and the Indians did not attack the early colonial New England colonies.

There is a June 1955 Harper's Magazine article about Jolo Island referred to by a book I was reading titled Harcourt,Brace College Handbook by John Hodges 58. This Jolo Island,Philippines article is about how a militant version of Moslem reached Jolo Island and met with a accepting response. The Jolo Island people For years no Jolo Island Moro would attend school for fear of "invisible conversion" to Christianity. Islam is not a violent religion but has fanaticism as all religion do. However it was the Christians who first were attacked back in ancient times.

As recently as 1940 the students of one of the schools killed all their non-Moro teachers for no reason that authorities could ascertain. And even today some people of Jolo Island will not ride in a car simply because Christians introduced cars to the island. It's a problem too for Moros because they don't go to hospitals for fear Christians will touch their dead when they died and this is not to be borne. Clearly, if we respect and understand and treat with dignity the customs of other nations, then we can have Peace Between Nations. Eva Hart Christian Army 62-70 670 Eddy St. Sfc 94109

As a woman, I'm embarrassed....she played right into men's ideas about us; that we're not fit to be president because of our emotions, which might spill over at any moment. I for one can't even read a sad story about a dog in the newspaper, because my tears will splash all over it. But then, I don't have to face down a dictator with his finger on the nuke button.

Crocodile tears indeed! A blatant attempt to show a "softer side" of herself for voters. The only thing she's sad about is that she hasn't already been given the coronation she thinks she is owed. That's the ugly thing about democracy---it doesn't always respect legacy appointments!

Ref: Hillary Tears Upon Losing Iowa

I cannot resist the temptation to mention some history of the New England States. I hope the same principles and morals will hold today.

Roger Williams who gave us our first full Religious Freedom at Providence, Rhode Island was also a brave pioneer whose first theory of religious government finally found its way into our U.S. Constitution of first Two Main Religious Laws.

Before his reasonable and humane policy the war-cloud melted away. Roger Williams with the Indian Wars would often smooth over tribal hatreds and keep Peace. We need a leader like this for sure.

The new colony followed Roger Williams' Religious Beliefs and Religious Practices. When the Commissioners of the United Colonies also wanted the Quakers to leave (as the fanatical Puritans) Providence, Rhode Island the colonial authorities said no for we believe in Absolute Religious Freedom and that so long as they stay within the bounds of Civil Law they could preach their religion. The historian says the colonial authorities had a keen understanding of human nature in denying the Quakers the Glories of Martyrdom. It is significant to note that there never was anymore trouble thereafter. It seemed the Quakers just wanted to preach their Religion. Here is a little story, it must be told, and attention must be paid: Here goes. Yesterday,
when I read the story about Clinton's breakdown, after a woman from the crowd, asked her how did she go on and on. And Hillary broke down. I thought it was such a beautiful story, a touching story, until I read between the lines.
You expect a frumpy housewife, that has never been anywhere, or participated in anything, to ask that sort of question; and it was a fair question for somebody with no experience of the world; but check this out....the woman that asked the question is, allegedly, a 64 years freelance photographer, who worked for Jimmy Carter; and is a restaurant owner, who "hosted campaign events for Bill Clinton, in 1992." Amazing, and she claims she was not a plant. Whopee-dee-damn-doo! Not a plant.
Same old story with those two shirtless ones daring to tell a presidential candidate, like Hillary Clinton, to iron their shirts. I do not believe that for a second. I think they were working for her; why? Because she has been trying to play the woman card; or has been so doing from day one.
Hillary does not cease to surprise me.
She stated: "this country" has given her so many opportunities" "This country?"
Where is she from Mexico?
A person speaking from the heart would have said: "I am running because so many things have gone wrong with our country, and I think that I can be of assistance in righting some of those wrongs."
But no, "this country" because she is as insincere as they come. You be the judge.
Enough said.

her tears are of frustration because she sees that she does not have the nomination lacked up as she thought just a few days ago. dont be fools and fall for that. this woman is so hungry for power it will bring her to tears if she loses this election. one minute she tries to fool us she cares with those tears the next she is attacking obama who by the way does not deserve the nomination either - he still has a long way to go. i hope edwards makes 2nd place in NH.

I don't remember JFK crying during the Cuban missle crisis. I'm not sure that we need a leader who can't hold it together over something as trivial as losing in Iowa.

Go back to Arkansas Hillary. Better to be the big fish in a little pond.

TO: Presidential Candidates for 2008 January 8, 2008 Senator Hillary Clinton's Tears at Losing Iowa.

I believe Senator Hillary Clinton finally realized the surprising fact according to her that she lost in Iowa, yet so many different interpretations from she wouldn't make a good President or it shows her humanity and she would make a good President. My goodness she came in second in Iowa which is wonderful advance and win for women. Did you really expect that for women! I haven't decided who to vote for yet, but we must choose caring, decent people who also can improve our image and relations with the world for Peace Between Nations.

We must choose a President who is liked by Americans and loyal to America, and a President who can win hearts and minds for Peace Between Nations. It is said of President George Washignton that he had the aura and magnetic charisma that swayed men.

Based on her performance yesterday in "N.H. Campaign 2008: Hillary Tries to Appear Human" I would like to nominate Hillary for a "Golden Rasberry Award."

It was obvious she had this performance in her pocket, waiting for the opportunity (given her history, the opportunity question may have even been planted).

But the performance was so bad, that not only were the crocodile tears laughable, but she didn't even seem believable as a human in that performance.

This was Hillary's version of the Howard Dean roar.

It's over Hillary.

Well....her answer and style of answer was one of the most disingenuous performances she has given on her entire dishonest campaign. More disturbing than the phony and inappropriate display of emotion (nothing ever wrong with real and appropriate emotion) were her words indicating that if we do not vote for her, we are in big trouble, going backwards....blah blah.

What a manipulative put down to all potential voters!

Notice how a woman candidate can't win no matter what she does. If she displays any emotion, she a 'weak woman'--if she doesn't, she's 'stony and unfeeling' or 'calculating'. This would be said of ANY woman presidential candidate in America--unless she was a toady of special interests on the GOP side, which she would then be touted day and night 24/7 on talk radio and Fox News as 'brilliant'.

I don't see this as such a big deal. Hill has emotions & Gore can be personable. The MSM finds it easier to pigeon-hole people than to show them as whole beings.
AS for the rantings above about sexism & such- grow a thicker skin people! Hill isn't taking it personally, just like Obama ignores the Hussein comments & Edwards doesn't talk about his hair. Grow up.
