Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has told Sen. Hillary Clinton, a Democratic candidate for president, that her passport file was breached in 2007, the senator's office said in a statement on Friday.

"The State Department will be briefing Senator Clinton's staff this afternoon to provide details about the recent unauthorized breaches of passport records," the statement said. "Senator Clinton will closely monitor the State Department's investigation into this and the other breaches of private passport information."

BS! Rice calls Clinton personally and some clerk gives a casual call to the Obama campaign? I don't believe this story for one second! All this story tells me is that the Bush administration wants Clinton to be the next president, confident that she will continue to carry out their agenda. Especially since the Obama campaign has said that it will look into the outrageous profits and tax breaks for the virtual monopoly of US oil companies. I'm outraged at the continuing interference by Republicans with this campaign.

on March 13th Hillary Clinton - surrounded by military supporters said:

"As voters evaluate you as a potential Commander-in-Chief, do you think it"s legitimate for people to be concerned that you have traveled to only one NATO country, on a brief stopover trip in 2005, and have never traveled to Latin America?"

The question could be "how did Senator Clinton know this?"

One possible answer:
"It"s just been reported that one of the people involved in the breach reported to a Mora Hardy, a State Department manager who was made an Ambassador by former President Bill Clinton"

Former Clinton ambassador to Paraguay; Mora Hardy. was the supervisor in charge of the two contract employees dismissed after Jan 9th and Feb 21st breaches of security in going into Sen Obama"s passport files.

This is the same supervisor who, was reported, did not report these incidents to her supervisors.

Mora Hardy retired as the Asst Sec of State for Consular Affairs last month (after the Feb 21st incident).

The third incident was last Friday March 14th but this contract employee was not fired and suddenly this story is leaked to the Washington Times.

This is not the work of the Bush Administration.
This has CLINTON written all over it

wait"

Sean MacCormack on C-Span now saying that the breach of Clinton's file was last summer in a training session where trainees were told to select someone's file to access, usually a family member, "but this person chose Sen. Clinton," and they were immediately admonished. More important is that the only other breach they've discovered was of Sen. McCain's file, by the same individual who accessed Obama's, the one who hasn't been fired but only disciplined. Therefore this was probably the breach on Mar. 14th? After McCain was known to be the nominee. Think what you will.

This is becoming a 3rd World Banana Republic. Rice mentions this just now??? Congress will want her head (hopefully they have the guts to). And BTW, many of you that are pissed about this need to go back and see the full context of Rev. Wright's sermons. He was attacking government malfeasance and corruption like THIS.

WHAT?

Why are we hearing about these breaches sequentially if Condi knew about both of them yesterday?

Well I'm sure all Obama fans will spin this as HRC breaching her own file to throw investigators off her trail....

So predictable.
