Bill Richardson criticized a Clinton campaign adviser Friday for suggesting his endorsement of Barack Obama is insignificant.

"I resent the fact that the Clinton people are now saying that my endorsement is too late because I only can help with Texans -- with Texas and Hispanics, implying that that's my only value," the New Mexico governor told CNN's John King.

Bill Richardson....TRAITOR OF THE YEAR!

That's the title of this article? Are you joking? How can you even claim to be speaking the truth on this website when you post an article with a title so biased. The story here is that Richardson endorsed Obama, not this small caveat that he was turned off by Clinton.

It's official---the press/media is no longer an extended branch of goverment--it's an extended branch of the Obama campaign.

Richardson says the Clinton team "kinda turned him off", should really read, "they really ticked him off".

Why are Clinton's own 'cage match' rules deemed so odious to Clintonistas when someone else actually practices what she preaches? She wanted Superdelegates to vote their consciences, not the polls, not the voter's will... well, she got it. NOW it's an awful thing? GET REAL.

I love this....the Clinton camp feels he "owes" them. How about trying on the other way around? It was Richardson that help bring some credibility to the Clinton WH. Or do you forget the first term fiasco? Where the rabid campaign kiddies were running the show. Winning a Republican congress? Richardson was given two high profile posts because he was competent not as some favor for an out of a job Bill Richardson.

..Yes it was when they told him that he needed to try on many pairs of Imelda Marcos's shoes in order to gain the kind of foreign policy experience that only Hillary could bring to the White House that he began to suspect she might not live up to her boasting about real world experience...

So now it's out. An Obama consultant is behind "passport gate." New kind of politics huh?

Come on, "Clinton adisors kind of turned me off" and "His speech was so inspirational" tats why Richarson edorsed Obama. I can see that the H.P. is firmly in the Obama fan club Do you really think that we are stupid enough to believe that Richardson's endorsement is based on any sincirity whatsoever. He is totally disingenuous and is taking his opportunity to lock himself into another Presidential appointment. Whata fraud. And even more so it reveals that Obama is a masterful orator ad that words do matter, but only whe you mean them. Obama says let the people speak not the super delegates. Yet he panders and solicits the super delegates. Just like his actions speak louder than his words with the Reverend Wright debacle, the Richardson endorsement and his refusal to endorse the Mchigan and Florida revote, show waht he truely is, A Typical Politician. I am so saddened at the faith we put in Obama. I hope we ae not too late to stop this fraud.

I think an Obama/Richardson ticket would be great if HiIlary doesn't want the veep spot.

I don't know much about how these veep things work, but just as a matter of parsing the electorate I think that Hispanic support for Obama will be key to his victory in November and Richardson has inside the beltway experience, including foreign policy experience, and experience as governor.

Richardson calls himself the Latino with the wasp name who looks like a native american. Putting a white wonder bread pol on as veep won't collect any votes from however many racists there are out there who will vote against Obama anyway. Richardson would have to lose more weight.

McCain doesn't go anywhere without Joe Lieberman so maybe Joe will be McCain's veep. I don't know if Lieberman is still pretending to be an "independent". Joe Lieberman is really the poster child for the war lobby and would get McCain all the money and media support he needs. Republicans don't really stand for anything besides war and tax cuts for the rich and big deficits and Lieberman would have no problem arguing the case for a continuation of all three. He would simply subsume all under the threat of world domination by "islamofascism".

I guess the republicans would insist on a loyal republican who has been toiling for the party longer than Lieberman.

Governor Bill Richardson's Obama Endorsement is hypocritical at best. Richardson says and did as recent as last night after his endorsement that He thinks that superdelegates should "vote according to the will of the populatr vote, New Mexico popular vote went for Clinton; who does he think he's representing? or perhaps this is shot all to hell as long as Obama promises him VP....what a hypocrit who is he kidding!...I can't put my finger on it but he's special

you don't know what the people of his state are telling him. just because she won by a few thousands votes don't mean the voters feel the same considering what's been going on since.

Bill Richardson is choosing the winning team. He looked at the Whining team and was turned off.
Who wouldn't?

"That's typical of some of his advisers that kind of turned me off."

Some of the Clinton supporters here turn me off as well.

I came into this election supporting Senator Clinton but over the long haul I found her entire campaign a giant turnoff.

Her supporters leave little to be desired as well.

This is really much ado about nothing. Richardson's endorsement won't sway voters. He's proven to be a political lightweight and made a fool of himself in the debates. The only help to the Obama campaign that this provided was a misdirection and brief respite from the Wright debacle.

Clintons are known crooks. They will attack bitterly anyone who disagrees with them. Why all this desperation to smear this great governor.

This will upset many of the Hispanics who feel Hillary has used them and discarded them.

Why humiliate a Hispanic governor with those words. This carville is the nastiest advisor I have ever seen.

Shame on the Clintons.

Richardson is an ingrate and an opportunist. I think it's probable that he wanted Hillary to guarantee him VP or Secretary of State, and she said no. Obama probably said, Sure....what ever you want Guvvy!

That about sums it for me, too, only I really only know Bill, and Hillary and a small handful of others revealed in the media. If they give you a creepy feeling now, think how you will feel if she's elected.

GREAT LIES BY NOT SO GREAT POLITICAL LEADERS:

BUSH: "I'm a uniter, not a divider."

OBAMA: "This election is not about race."

BUSH: "Read my lips, no new taxes."

OBAMA: "I am not an affirmative action candidate."

Bill Richardson:

"Why I came out to endorse Obama."

*** Because I am completely desperate for attention.
*** This is my way of begging for the VP job.
*** I'm a Hispanic! See, I should be VP! Wouldn't that be neat?
*** I'm bitchy and kind of pissy that the Clintons don't treat me better.
*** I used to be hot! But now I'm not, but I wish I was.
*** Did I tell you I was Hispanic?

richardson owes his political career to clinton. clinton elevated him from a nobody to somebody. that got him the governorship. he really is a scumbag.

The Clintons appear to be going to war over Richardson's endorsement. But why? It is just resentment at what they consider "betrayal"? Betrayal of what?

Or is it because it is politically expedient to attack Richardson now, after courting him for months. What is the payoff? Why risk a Latino backlash?

The only answer I can come up with is that the Clinton ship of state is rudderless and out of control, and since they have already thrown in the kitchen sink, they are down to the toilet.
