While discussing on Fox News' The Live Desk New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson's endorsement of Sen. Barack Obama, Philadelphia radio host Dom Giordano said of Richardson's beard: "I don't know if it's playing into the ethnic card, or whatever." Host Martha MacCallum stated, "[Richardson] said, you know, 'It's hard for me,' he said to me once, 'people don't even know I'm Hispanic,' " and then asked, "So is that part of what he is ... cultivating here?" Giordano replied, "I think so."

I think it's widely assumed the beard would have had more of an effect before Super Tuesday

Only the might insightful network on television would have this conversation...

Since when does a beard make a man man more ethnic?

When he's Amish? Of course, whether you're Amish, Hassidic or Children of the Corn, hats always help...

LMAO!

Wake up. The Fox panel doesn't "ponder" anything, ever.

That's one of the dumbest conversations I've ever read about!

I think he looks good like that! Pity his suit was a tad too tight...

Fox news people have to keep a towel handy to wipe the slobber than runs from their mouths while they speak.

His beard? This is totally baffling. Why didn't they mention that the jacket he wore while announcing his endorsement for Obama was a few sizes too small? Now Fox News could run with that story!

This is the ONLY person who ran for president with a resume to back up his application. Romney was close.

There are people who think running a country is like running a business. It's not, not even by a long shot.

What's your screen name... you may be in my library. Anyway, The Gov looks damn good with his new look.

Am I the only one who has noticed that Richardson's complexion has darkened in the last few weeks?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 12:01 AM on 03/25/2008

It's called "tanning." I've never been there, but I imagine "tanning" happens quite frequently in New Mexico.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 07:03 PM on 03/25/2008

Surely it's a coincidence that he got his tan on just at the time he is trying to deliver the Hispanic vote to Obama.

I'm surprised they didn't think it made him look like an al qaeda operative.

Personally, I don't think this is really Bill Richardson. It is either a Pod Person or Richardson's evil twin. I won't bring up Star Trek because that's an obvious reference. Whenever I see someone with a goatee I think of Space Ghost's evil twin brother, Chad Ghostal.

Oh come on, the "Spock with a beard" episode was one of the best!

He should have gone with just the mustache.

Even McCain cheerleader, Jon King of CNN, made a snide remark about Richardson's beard last Friday on Situation Room. That's when I started liking it.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:42 PM on 03/24/2008

Jon King is a shill for Obama, too...Richardson is just looking Judas...nothing more!

I agree with you 100%. Richardson is a traitor and I really think that the Obama camp offered him a deal. He kept saying that he supported Obama because there is something special about him but he really doesn't know what it is.

White people need only to study the commentary at FoxNews to get a clue why minorities might be inclined to say unkind things about them. There is now an "ethnic card"???

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:16 PM on 03/24/2008

I'm white and and younger than Gov Richardson and would like to look that good. I wish my beard looked that good.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 12:17 AM on 03/25/2008

What the..?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:04 PM on 03/24/2008

Uh, probably because he wanted to grown one. I think his circle beard or "goatee" looks good on him. No one at Faux News is man enough to grow a beard so they're just jealous. My gawd.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 09:58 PM on 03/24/2008

Actually he should have grown one earlier. It looks good on him.

This is a man who garnered single digits in primaries/undemocratic caucuses, and anyone gives a rat's ass what he does? How many votes does this man add to Obama's total, and how many superdelegates give a shit who he endorses...exactly...NONE!

Fux Noise will talk about ANYTHING other than the issues; hence, discussion about Bill Richardson's goatee, for GOD's sake.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 09:09 PM on 03/24/2008

seems to me Richardson is going for the "al qaeda" look. . .

Your comment isn't THE stupidest thing I've ever read, but I'm sure if you try a little harder, next time you'll do it.
