Hillary: That

Hillary: That "I'm Human" Is A Revelation To Some People

  |   March 25, 2008 04:29 PM

After her campaign acknowledged Monday that she misspoke by suggesting she had come under sniper fire on a trip to Bosnia while first lady, Hillary Clinton answered further questions about the disputed trip at a press conference Tuesday afternoon. She admitted she had made a mistake, but was quick to point out, that she's only human.

MSNBC

Read about how the morning shows treated Hillary's Bosnia story.

The morning shows weren't the only one to address Hillary's account of her time in Bosnia. Sinbad (Sinbad!), who was on the same 1996 trip with Clinton, roundly dismissed her claims of sniper fire. Hillary's response to Sinbad: "He's a comedian, you know."

She has the same problem as Michael Jackson had in dealing with the public. She has been surrounded by so many yes people for so long that she thinks just because she says something that makes it so. She comes across as arrogant and snobbish.

Osama Bin Laden is a human. What's your point?

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 08:47 AM on 03/27/2008

That's what Al Capone told the judge before he got sentence to jail.

Nice try, Hillbilly.

humans do lie; it's true; i mean, they misspeak.

I think this Bosnia thing is over blown. Just read the link up here about all the whoppers that Obama has told. Trust me he's had alot more than her in a shorter period of time.

On the media's coverage, try this: google "Hillary lies" and "Hilary misspeaks." None of the main stream media is willing to say she lied. Why is that? Why can't the media be truthful???

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 11:12 PM on 03/26/2008

I have news for Hillary.

To err is human. To continue with the same err is no longer human, it is the Devil incarnate.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 12:41 PM on 03/26/2008

The media is allowing Senator Clinton to get away with lying when it comes down to the sniper fire claim. And the fact that she is now saying that she made a rare error and "I remember it differently" is nothing other then another blatant lie. Having snipers shooting around you would be traumatic situation that a person would always remember and not get it confused with getting off a plane and hugging a child. The media should not allow her to get away with such outrages lies.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 04:41 PM on 03/26/2008

"He's a comedian"? That's the best she can do?

And doesn't that logic get invalidated when you remember that two COMEDIANS--Tina Fey and Amy Poheler--helped revitalize her campaign?

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 12:00 PM on 03/26/2008

I am gravely concerned by the manner in which Senator Clinton is able to lie on at least these four different occasions where she embellished her Bosnia experience.

She lies in the very same manner that Cheney does; with gravitas. He line sounded eerily like 'last throes of the insurgency'.

Her response, 'So. I'm human...'

Very much like Cheney's recent response to Iraq, 'So....'

This person is a pathological liar.

I'm wondering if those who read body-language saw this one coming. For one thing, can you imagine laughing in remembering sniper fire? Anyone who has such a memory can tell you it's not a laughing matter, even years later.

How can any honest self-serving politician admit to lying? Especially one running for President of the United States? For that matter, can you recall ANY politician EVER admitting to telling a "lie?" Who expects the unvarnished truth from politicians? No, they've got to wrap the unseemly in something more palatable. Political-speak is all about wrapping the unseemly in something more palatable.

Senator Clinton has been treated by the press, as if she is not a human being. She has been
attacked non-stop by everyone in the press. Cottage industries have been created on attacking her,
so it is not surprising she would say, she is human and that may be a "revelation to some people."
How many of us could stand to be attacked non-stop the way this woman is? I suspect not many...
The hatred for her borders on the pathological, and I don't know why - she has spent her entire
adult life trying to help people - and she has. Is she ambitious - Yes. Last time I checked that was not
a crime. If she answers a direct question - she is attacked. SHE DID NOT BRING UP THE REV
issue. She was asked a question and attacked for answering it. I was very surprised by her remarks on Bosnia, - they don't make sense. The sad part it they reinforce all those negative feelings about her - that she will say or do anything to get elected. There isn't any way to spin the footage of her
arrival in Bosnia. But she needs to be given a break and cut some slack, she is a wonderful
mother, great daughter, caring friend.
In those words, "I'm human and that may come as a "revelation" to some people," tell us how
much she is hurting deep down. And she deserves some kindness and some humanity.

You don't know why so many people are negative toward Hillary. Ever ask why you don't know? Maybe we know something you've been unwilling to consider. What if we're right?

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 08:10 PM on 03/26/2008

Her hens have come home to roost!!

You can't blame anyone but Hillary for her downfall. She would have been far better campaigning as a mute. Everytime she speaks, something new and wonderful comes out that is either all false or has many falsities (is that a word?) in her remarks.

I don't believe deception, manipulation, obfuscation, and fantasy make us human - these qualities reveal the shadow side of humanity. We don't need another leader who believes the ends justify the means. What type of person has to create a heroic fantasy in order to be deemed worthy? What type of person stays partnered to someone who obfuscates and deceives others knowingly? This speaks to character - and we don't need this type of character leading the country now or ever! She did at least admit her mistake, once there were multiple witnesses and video footage of what actually happened... otherwise, this manipulative fantasy would have lived on as the truth.

CNN, 3/25/96 Protected by sharpshooters, Hillary Rodham Clinton swooped into a military zone by Black Hawk helicopter Monday to deliver a personal "thank you, thank you, thank you" to U.S. troops. ... RIFLEMEN RUSHED TO THE BRUSH LINE as the helicopter landed AND SURROUNDED HER AS SHE walked into the post. Located in a "separation zone," the U.S. outpost nestles between two tree lines. Just months ago, one was Serbian territory, the other Bosnian. Security was tight - fighter jets accompanied her C-17 cargo plane to Tuzla

What Hillary really wanted to say:

"I am Human, and YOU ARE NOT!"

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 10:17 AM on 03/26/2008

Clinton ='s lies & mistakes

How many mistakes and lies does Senator Clinton get?

How many successes has she had? Did she get health care passed during her years in the white house? How many lobbyist does she take money from?

If she can't remember if she was fired at, this was a HUGE event. She lied about it. How can we believe her when she's talking about other important events.

Lied about Bosnia
Lied about N. Ireland David Tremble was the one who brought peace to N. Ireland.
Lied about Masadonia
Lied to the people of Ohio about her stance on NAFTA

Clinton voted to put our solders in Iraq. Just another MISTAKE!!!

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 09:51 AM on 03/26/2008

She's made a lot of mistakes, hasn't she? She botched the health care initiative during her husband's administration by brokering back-room deals (much like Cheney and his energy commission), which forced her out of the limelight for the remainder of both Clinton terms. She voted to allow Bush to go to war. She voted for Kyl-Lieberman, which may still come back to haunt us before W. gets out of office. Her campaign has been a management and stategic planning disaster, which is a powerful argument against her being ready on "Day One". Frankly, her flip attitude is a bit hypocritical.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 08:58 AM on 03/26/2008

To lie constantly and consistently is human; now I get it.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 08:45 AM on 03/26/2008

To err is human, it takes a Clinton to speak a whopper.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 08:23 AM on 03/26/2008

Well wake up Hillary! Humans lie and distort facts! Just like you did about this Bosnia trip. There is no way that you misspoke about that trip! It was a blatant fabrication to the American people, just like your fabrications about your role in the White House. Gosh, you are stooping as low as Bill when he sat before the American people on television and said that he 'did not have sex with another woman'. You two deserve each other!

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 07:49 AM on 03/26/2008

Hillary human? Just another lie. I'd have to concur with S. Power's assessment: she is a monster. Bosnia, Ireland, Canada, NAFTA, plagiarism, patriotism, and "day one" (whatever that is), Hillary is constitutionally incapable of telling the truth.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 06:30 AM on 03/26/2008

I can't take her anymore. Help!

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 05:48 AM on 03/26/2008

If she'd added the word, dysfunctional, I could agree with her. But being human isn't her problem. Hillary's problem is that the common perception that she's untrustworthy is completely justified and unshakable. Meaning she can't win in the general election because an enormous plurality of Americans would rather vote for "Other" even if she ran unopposed for president.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 05:41 AM on 03/26/2008

Does anyone else get the impression that Hillary is the ball busting version of a Stepford wife?

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 05:23 AM on 03/26/2008

From that perspective, George W. Bush is one of the most "human" people. And we like humanity, so that's good, right?

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 04:02 AM on 03/26/2008

Damn that's cold. First the Democratic Party and now she throws Sinbad under the bus.

Of course he talked crap about one of those SNL skits recently so I guess he was a Judas too and had to be disposed of anyway, RIP Sinbad.
