Speaking to CNN's Campbell Brown on Tuesday, Clinton supporter Paul Begala downplayed talk of Hillary Clinton bowing out of the Democratic Presidential race. Taking a page from the classic film "Wayne's World," Begala said Hillary withdrawing from the race was as likely as "monkeys flying out of my butt." Watch the video:

It wasn't the only time Begala used the Wayne's World wisdom. Watch him use it again below on a clip from AC 360:

I don't think I'd care much between the three of them if it weren't for the Supreme Court. The last thing we need are more corporatist judges.

This voter is caught in an Orwellian conundrum but buoyed by a Faustian bargain:

Does he watch in horror as monkeys leap from Paul Begala's cavernous rectum or view in despair as two hackneyed, sag-assed politicos go at it in a General Election that is much ado about nothing?

He ponders for a moment... Faust wins! Damn the odor- bring on the monkeys!

Obama 08.

Thank you Arianna! I can not laugh this hard or long anywhere else. It's not the articles (mind you), as they are usually very informative. It's just the comments! I love all of them. From the serious "you must believe me dammit!" to the extremely coy. If some of these people we're wearing out their sneakers and campaigning for a Democrat (ANY Democrat) instead of typing, well we could do great things. Meanwhile, while we're crackin' em (and each other), ol' Bush just raised 3/4 of a billion dollars for the Republican campaign. We have two animals fighting tooth and nail in a stream that is fast approaching the waterfall. What is this? A game of chicken? The sad part is if I was to claim who my support went with, the "other" side would attack me.
Aah, the hell with it, go Bama! (I wish them monkeys would fly on out of here)

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 08:44 PM on 03/27/2008

Actually, 'ol Bush raised that much in the last 7 years. He didn't "just" raise it. He's got little left to sell at this point so who'd pay him for favors?

I read and post here and enjoy it. My wife and I were county convention delegates for Obama. We were then elected as delegates for the state convention in May. We're doing the forgotten work of carrying the voter's voices forward through the cumbersome process of selecting national delegates to vote in August.

I don't mean to attack you but I do want to point out that some of your assumptions may be wrong. We can enjoy ourselves and be active politically at the same time. Neat trick, eh?

Look - the reality is that the math is hopeless for Clinton - barring a complete collapse for Obama, he will enter the convention with more pledged delegates and more popular vote. If the situation were reversed, does anybody really think Hillary wouldn't be SCREAMING that Obama was tearing the party apart? Does ANYBODY think, if the situation were reversed, the "party elders" wouldn't be helping Obama off stage right? We're in this situation for one reason and one reason only: Hillary Clinton thinks she should be the nominee. That's it. That's the entire justification for what's happening. The FACT that the DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY VOTERS disagree with her - in terms of pledged delegates and the popular vote? Apparently, Hillary Clinton knows better. She's essentially saying: "I KNOW what's best, and I KNOW that either I will WIN 70% of the vote in EACH state from here on out (NEVER happen) or, I KNOW the super-delegates can and SHOULD override the will of the people and put me over the top. I KNOW that, despite the FACT that I agreed to skip Florida and Michigan, now that I NEED Florida and Michigan? I KNOW what's right - have NEW contests, against the rules laid down by the party a YEAR ago that I AGREED TO. I KNOW we shouldn't split the delegates 50/50, (which is the ONLY way to resolve the issue FAIRLY) - I KNOW - I KNOW - I KNOW WHAT'S BEST.

Amen MrsWakely. Here's what I know: I KNOW I wanna be a fly on the wall in the Clinton dining room when they look wistfully into each others eyes and realize that the jig REALLY is up and their 2 decades of triangulated, reprobate, meglomania has finally run its tired course.
Billary.. GET TO STEPPIN!

The "party elders" (whoever they are) avoid ending this thing at their peril. Every day that the Clinton machine blasts Obama hurts the chances for November. The polls are CLEARLY showing the vote fatigue already. The Democratic party runs the very real risk they can put the American general election voter so off with this tit-for-tat bullshit, that they give this election to the EMINENTLY BEATABLE JOHN MCCAIN. HELLO??!! The Democrats (I'm a registered Independent who wants Obama) have managed to LOSE the last TWO presidential elections, both of which, let's face it - they should have RUN AWAY WITH. In 2000, they fucked up, by BILL CLINTON'S personal behavior and his willingness to LIE EMPHATICALLY UNDER FEDERAL OATH, Al Gores' shot to have 4 to 8 years. The result? Oh, let's see: 9/11, 2 conservatives on the Supreme court, Afghanistan (a mess), Iraq (the WRONG COUNTRY and A MESS), anti-science decisions that favor big business left, right and center, HUGE corporate and rich American tax cuts for the FIRST TIME EVER DURING WARTIME, a CLEAR violation of the boundaries between church and state - the list goes on and on and on and on.

The Democratic party needs to GET ITS SHIT TOGETHER - NOW - and get these fucking "super-delegates" in a room somewhere and lay down the fucking law - "look - you want to LOSE YOU MORONS?" GUYS? It's gonna be a cluster-fuck either way (Clinton wins/Obama supporters pissed - Obama wins/Clinton supporters pissed) the question IS - DO YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH THE FALL OUT NOW OR IN AUGUST? Don't you think it's better to make the argument that OBAMA IS GOING TO GO INTO THE CONVENTION AHEAD AND TO OVERTURN THE POPULAR WILL OF THE PEOPLE THEN WILL GUARANTEE DEFEAT IN NOVEMBER? Better to have the super-delegates put him over the top NOW, let Hillary pitch a fucking fit, let all her psycho supporters get all their bullshit out of their system in the next few months, and at least give the Democratic party a CHANCE to win this election - an election they SHOULD WIN GOING AWAY - IF THEY CAN GET THEIR HEADS OUT OF THEIR ASSES AND GET BEHIND OBAMA NOW - INSTEAD OF IN AUGUST WHEN THEY'RE GOING TO HAVE TO GET BEHIND HIM ANYWAY.

If the Democratic party can't get their shit together? And they blow this? They deserve 8 years of McCain, followed by 8 years of his running mate - which they'll get. GROW UP DEMOCRATS.

I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY ALL YOU PEOPLE SAY THAT SENATOR CLINTON IS HURTING THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. SHE IS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY!!! HER BACKERS DO NOT WANT HER TO THROW IN THE TOWEL, BECAUSE THIS RACE IS FAR FROM OVER. SHE HAS JUST AS MUCH RIGHT TO STAY IN THE RACE, ACTUALLY MORE THAN BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA HAS. HE WILL NOT WIN THE PRIMARY AND NOT THE GENERAL ELECTION. SO IF YOU DON'T WANT JOHN MCCAIN AS YOUR NEXT (DYBYA FOR 4 MORE YEARS) YOU HAD BETTER VOTE FOR HER.

Just one point is worthy of rebuttal:

The Clintons are NOT the Democratic Party -- they are what ruined the Democratic Party. Before them, the party had principles, it actually believed that government should stand as the wall stopping private interests running amok and ruining all our lives.

Then the Clintons came along and said, heck, let's just give the corporate interests whatever they want -- as long as some of our liberal friends get jobs and a tiny bit of government money, that'll keep the left quiet.

I am so thankful that real progressives are taking the party back. These tired, smelly leftovers need to be tossed out so the party can get the country back on track..

Please do try to keep up darling.

Hillary is entitled to stay in this race until the bitter end, but as long as she persists in doing so, she is exhibiting the brand of poor judgement that America can no longer afford after eight years of heckle and Jeckle in the WH.

Notice how conveniently he uses "we" when referring to generating record turnouts? That "we" has nothing to do with Clinton and everything to do with Obama. Obama draws record crowds at his events. Hillary's don't even come close.

But keeping bringing up BIll, that still won't get your candidate to the 2025 pledge delegate count or to winning Penn on April 22.

Too bad.

Well, Mr. Monkeybutt and his pal Serpenthead's motivations for a Hillary presidency go alot deeper than friendship. If Hillary were to become president, Begala would probably get a salary boost at CNN or even his own show somewhere; rake in a few bucks as a"special advisor" to the president; do a Karl Rove guest columunist thing, or even a plum spot at a university. Serpenthead has a different deal because if McCain goes in, his wife will get herself a GOP co-chair spot, or another advisory role, which would be just peachy for him as long as he can stand to be married to her. If Hillary won, his "consulting" businees would increase dramatically, along with public speaking gigs, and he too could land more tv stuff.(party Time!) Networks love it when an employee has a pipeline to the White House--it's good for bidness.
If the shoe were on the other foot, and Obama was hanging on like Hillary depite losing every which way to Sunday, Begala would be on CNN every day screaming for him to drop out for the "good of the party." Excellent!

Someone should alert Mike Myers that Begala is stealing his material. I think we'd probably get a more unique answer from Mike Myers tho...why doesn't CNN try to get HIM on? Begala is the typical Clinton surrogate...full of hot air.
