Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama may be hard at work on the campaign trail, but the senator from Illinois can count on James Wilkie Broderick, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's 5-year-old son, for his support in his battle for the White House - if he's running again in 13 years.

"He's very into Barack Obama," Parker told reporters Saturday at a New York press junket for the movie Smart People. "On his own!"

"He's really, truly into this election," she says of her little guy's interests. "He's come to this conclusion on his own based specifically on Barack's gender. It's that deep. He's a fan and a true supporter of Barack Obama."

Aside from politics, Parker, 43, says James loves building things and spending time with his mommy and daddy.

Oh my! Sara Jessica Parker's son is thirteen and somehow who he wants to be President matters when he can't even vote. My ten year old granddaughter likes Hillary, but I wouldn't consider it newsworthy. A celebrity's minor child is not news worthy. Let us get serious folks.

Paul Chi. Way to go. Former President Clinton said everyone needs to chill ... well, you is chillin' in style!

Sad that some folks missed the double entendre.

*That IS how you intended it, isn't it?* :~

well, only a 5 year old can believe that being nice to terrorists will stop them.

How old do you have to be to believe that's a useful comment?

Well let see, do you know how many terrorist in number count there are?

How many our nation is up again?. Unless you have an official census count from other nations.

Obama is correct, this is the silly season. We don't want to talk to people on the ISLAND of Cuba.
(very small island at that)
why because they are communist. Guess WHAT so is China, they have all our middle class jobs.
Who gave it to them, the Republicans as far back as the Nixon time frame. Also, China has over 1.5 billion people mostly a male population. Do you know how many we have here at the last census count? Approx 381 million people and that include Muslims. Get a grip on your mind set.

1.3 billion muslins world wide. America is out numbered we better learn how to talk to people and quick. They have not stop making babies just because Hillary or McCain is running for office

We have been sleeping with the enemy (they come in all forms) for years just waiting. time is on their side Every election a few words are said and we start fighting.

Have you considered the same with a special(coded) drivers lic. for illegal aliens. If is possible to bring them out into the open to get a better count. we are paying for services yet have no idea who, what , where or how many. to include terrorist, we never closed and secured our boarders

an interesting study done years ago found that young babies can make distinctions between faces that frighten them and those that they naturally like. this kid, even though he belongs to lunkhead jessica, can obviously spot a gorgon--hence his support of barack.

Parker really has too much time on her hands (and money). But my question is why is this "news".

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 01:17 AM on 03/31/2008

"He's come to this conclusion on his own based specifically on Barack's gender."

. . . Is there a subtext here?

Or is it all in the headline??? Did the kiddo write the headline too???

Leave the kids alone.

I had the same thoughts. "He's come to this conclusion on his own based specifically on Barack's gender." Could these thoughts, from Ms. Parker's mouth, be either endorsing (or mocking) the idea of using gender to determine one's politicial affiliation?.

I remember supporting Jimmy Carter at age five. I liked his name better than Gerald Ford's.

Seriously, young children, like animals, can still have a good sense of a person's character. Not that Hillary's evil or anything, but it's hard to not like Barack.

And this is deserving of being reported in what way?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 07:21 PM on 03/30/2008

Why not just call this site The Obama Post?

The pits of the inane...............but I was surprised HuffPost posted the Op Ed in the Philadelphia Inquirer yesterday about how Obama played the race card and blamed it on Hillary Clinton. His first article in the New Republic confirmed to me what I suspected.......Obama was using the race card to peel the support of blacks away from Hillary to Obama. sure has worked to his advantage........wow, 90% of the black vote in Mississippi for Obama. Mission accomplished

Hey Bill, what have you done for me lately?
