On Friday, Barack Obama began a six-day journey across Pennsylvania in anticipation of the state's anticipated April 22 primary. Polls show him trailing Hillary Clinton in Pennsylvania's rural areas, and he enjoying a comfortable lead in urban areas like Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Said an anonymous source from the Obama campaign, "We win if we lose by only five points."

How come HuffPost has made no mention of Obama's comment about not wanting his daughters to be punished with a baby and STD if they made a mistake. It's a very significant position of this candidate that your readers and voters are entitled to know and, also, to have a debate on.

I think he means: don't get pregnant, daughters. More people should be speaking out against teen mothers who cannot afford, either emotionally or financially, to have a child when they are so young.

I'm with you! On the website 'thehill.com' there's an article about that. Says that according to the Christian Broadcasting Network, Obama told them he would educate his young daughters but "if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby. I don't want them punished with an STD the the age of 16."

Stop getting yourself so worked up. I smell smoke b/c you are "thinking" so hard. The repubs. will soon drag out their mantra, "Guns, Gays, and God." For good measure, they will dust off their state of the nation alarm, turning on the orange and red light alerts. I have no doubt that McCain will be the next Pres. Dems will never/can never get their act together and enjoy being losers. Take a look at the last 12 years. Why stop now?

What does that have to do with politics. Here our country is going to hell, we have huge survival
problems and people worry about whether someone is a Christian or whether he/she is against or for abortions. Are we insane yet? That is a very personal decision and has nothing to do with
us the public, nothing at all.

So what's your beef? You agree or not? Of course you don't. But you 8888ers want to force women to have babies and then cry about unwed mothers on welfare and you damn sure don't adopt them. Anyway everyone with a tv has heard it today and it will more than likely play here tomorrow in the headlines.

Go into "her" territory Senator Obama. Let the people hear what you have to say. You have the intellegence, the demeanor, the heart and the soul to win over white, blue collar workers in every county. I love the idea of the bus, I thought the bowling was great. You will learn a lot from this state. Good luck, I'm rooting for ya!

Not if you bowl like the way you did...

See Pennsylvania the way it was meant to be seen?

What exactly does that bit of Obamalicking mean???

Let me guess, your high game is 300 huh? Have you ever been on a road trip? Things are better seen on ground than overhead on a plane.

I read on another website that when a woman handed Obama her Walmart receipt for his autograph, he responded "I'm not sure you should be shopping there." What is wrong with shopping in Walmart? It's a good place to shop when we're watching our wallets and keeps a lot of us employed.

Let's see, they import mainly from communist China with lead based paint on kids toys, poisoned our pets, they sue brain damaged employees etc etc etc..................

You need to be full of thanksgfiving & respect for Obama for telling you where you can shop, or eat, or which hospital or doctor you can visit, or which schools you and/or your kids can attend.

Of course you'll never see him or his wife or kids at any of those places, but just don't concern yourself with that.

The Obama's made $2.6million last year -- I guess they're too good for Wal-Mart.

Betcha if he knew Rev. Wright's DVD's were in the bargain bin, he'd be there.

Sounds like jealousy to me! He wrote to N.Y. best sellers and is a U.S. Senator, what have you accomplished?

Honey I'm too good for Wal-Mart and it's none of your business how much I made last year.

Maybe it has something to do with WalMarts policies of screwing their sick and injured employees. Or I don't know, could be their policies of buying defective and tainted products from China that no one else would buy.

Walmart has a history of bad practices that ranges from discrimination against women (lower pay than men and fewer promotions) to telling workers to get their health care from local county facilities (meaning taxpayers provide health care for many Walmart workers). Also, they tend to freeze out local businesses. Also, they have been known to bring in new vendors by telling them they must supplty Walmart exclusively -- then they start lowering the amount they pay these vendors, ruining many of them. Also, they have been know to close stores rather than deal with unions. Also, they reportedly locked in workers overnight for "security" purposes. The list goes on and on and on. The latest I heard on Countdown and other sources: A woman in their employ was hit by a truck and ended up in a nursing home in a wheelchair and memory loss. She received $417,000 in compensation. Walmart, claiming they paid $400,000 to her in medical costs, promptly SUED HER for the $400,000. Adding to this, the woman's son was recently killed in Iraq and, due to her lessened mental capacity, she forgets this so that every time she asks where her son is, she is told her son is dead, it's as if for the first time. Nice people. And need I mention obscenely rich and desiring to create a Walmart ecvonomy wherein no one can affort to shop (or work) anywhere else. Enough of a reason?

I wouldn't judge about the injured woman until I knew the WHOLE story.
Some are envious of Walmart's success. I know lots of people who shop there because of the vast amount of choices, the prices and conveniences. No reason other stores can't provide those, but until that comes along then Walmart gets all the business.
I'll bet your mother shops there.

For the good of the Nation and for the sake of party unity, Obama should withdraw.

"...for the sake of party unity, Obama should withdraw."

If your definition of "party unity" means "all hell breaking loose accompanied by the subsequent destruction of the Democratic Party" then your comment makes perfect sense. Otherwise, you ought to admit that you don't care a fig about "party unity."
