Okay, let's hear it from the Obama people. The vile posts that dominated the article of Hillary giving an interview to Richard Mellon Scaife's publication deserve equal time on the Obama/Murdoch pairing. Is it OK because it's Obama involved??

Where did you get the idea that Murdoch was involved. It's Murdoch's daughter. She hasn't been a central hub for right-wing propoganda like her father and like Scaife. If it had been Scaife's son, daughter, or other relative, that Clinton went to, knowing or hoping she would get a Wright question out of the deal, it would have been different.

It wasn't.

Rupert supports Hillary. His Media empire supports McNazi. His daughter supports Obama. The Murdochs keep all their bases covered.

It is peculiar how someone's associates can tarnish one's . . . attractiveness.

So how do all of you conervative idiots feel about media consolidation now. Her dad is looking really old. I wonder what will happen to the unfair and unbalanced boys when he gets his ticket to hell. It will be funny when the republicans are calling for the return of the fairness doctrine.

This should at least give us a break from all those hysterical posts about Hillary being Murdoch's candidate.

I wonder if Keith Olbermann will be as dispeptic over this news as he was about a possible endorsement of Hillary by Richard melon Scaife.

Both Murdoch and Paltrow, while I am sure lovely people, grew up excruciatingly rich and privileged. I wish that people like this would stick to their real jobs and stop trying to tell us why to vote for someone when they have obviously never experienced the hardship that many Americans have. This goes for celebs endorsements for both candidates. The Hollywoodization associated with this Democratic primary is very nauseating.

If you care about the hardships americans are having now - vote democrat - it's the republicans that have sucked this country dry, so much so, they have to pass out cash to everyone so they can eat until november when the democrats get in and fix the country again. Just like they did after the first bush.

Considering the number of fundraisers her father has held for Hillary Clinton, methinks there might be some friction in the family. Elizabeth has a reputation for honesty and pragmatism that fits well with Obama's approach to solving problems - I'm not at all surprised she supports his candidacy.

Gweneth Paltrow is also a fine human being and I'm glad they're getting together for a good cause.

Obviously, this means Rupert Murdochs's daughter doesn't agree with her father's conservative politics.
How refreshing!!!

Rupert Murdoch, Karl Rove, top Bush fundraisers, the Illinois G.O.P., Republicans for Obama, the brother of Fox News VP David Rhodes - the list of conservative backers of Obama is well-documented but little reported. This candidate appeared out of nowhere three years ago just as the Trojan Horse suddenly presented itself on the beaches of Troy. And an alarming number of Americans have grabbed the ropes to pull him into the Democratic Convention next August without giving it a second thought. The manipulation of this election began in 2004, when the G.O.P. yanked Obama's challenger for the U.S. senate seat and replaced him with an unknown from Maryland, guaranteeing the Rezko protege the win. This provided the platform from which he launched his presidential campaign the following year. Karl Rove knew Hillary Clinton was coming down the pike in 2008 and rightly surmised that this was probably his way hope of defeating her. For more on how Rove's strategy, see the article I've posted at thecityedition.com. Here's a direct. http://www.thecityedition.com/Pages/Archive/Winter08/2008Election.html

I take it you did not watch C Span over the last few days..Rove was on...two days in a row. He was going through Obama's speaches and tearing him apart. For Obama..not hardly. You know you really should make sure of the facts, in the era of Google its much too easy to seperate lies from facts..ask Hillary.

But then you seem to know so much of what the Republicans did...maybe you know as an insider.
What Manure.

I read your article. It's clear why you are not a mainstream commentator. You may think your article was well researched and fair. It was a desperate attempt to cobble together pseudo-facts to get yourself noticed. Nice try, but as Simon Cowell would say, "Forgettable."

In mentioning Michigan, you somehow overlooked the most important reason Obama felt the re-vote was unfair. When Democrats believed their votes would not count in the primary, thousand of them voted in the Republican primary. These Democrats would not be allowed to vote in the re-vote, disenfranchised by their own leaders and for believing that there would be consequences for moving the election up.

If the situation were reversed, do you honestly believe Hillary would be calling for a re-vote?

yer real funny. Karl Rove is the master of the Universe. Karl made George Ryan take his hot wife, Star Trek's 7 of 9 (remember her) to sex clubs. She didn't like it. Was she in on the plot too?

I believe Ms Murdoch has two bi-racial daughters from being married to an african man. However ,I dont believe Karl Rove had anything to do with Obama's senate race. The republicans put up a weak candidate, they brought from maryland after the incumbent republican candidate dropped out because of a sex scandal. The republicans tried to get the former chicago bears coach to run against Obama but he declined , Thats the story and I stick by it.

I hope its not an April fools joke ,but in any event Ms Murdoch was married to an African man and has two bi-racial daughters from the marriage. But I am responding to your post ,that Karl Rove and the likes are responsible for the candidacy of Senator Obama , thats plain nonsense big time. You mentioned that the Republicans put up a weak candidate to ran against Senator Obama, thats nonsense too. The original Republican candidate in that race was the incumbent who had too drop out at the last minute because a story broke out that his wife and him frequently visited strip clubs together and even "carried on " in public . The Republicans desperately tried to find a last minute replacement candidate, they tried desperately to get the retired Chicago Bears coach to run,he declined , by the candidate Obama's pollings shot through the roof. The Republicans finally got a religeous kook from Maryland ,renting a hotel room for him to live in to set up residency. He lost big time.

How does anyone equate her with her father? Sorry Clintonistas, Hillary has been kissing the backsides of the very same media that tried to destroy her family, and this nation. This hasn't changed that. Murdoch's daughter doesn't share his political views, thank you very much.

So how do we keep getting new Republicans? Pods?

I'm a Democrat. My Dad took me in the voting booth with him when I was 4 and had me pull the lever for JFK. My Grandfather was a precinct captain and a national delegate for JFK. My brother has worked as Democratic staff for 25 years in a western state's House of Representatives.

My Momma only raised one foolish child. He lives in Nebraska and got rich enough to morph into a Republican. Yup, I think the Pod People are behind this.

Rove makes a turd blossom--like GWBUSH becoming president.
Inane McCain's his current project.

Advertising, media image creation is everything in the Republican-controlled MEDIA scene.

Smoke & mirrors, slick sound bites = Republican success in screwing middle-income Americans for another 8 years.

Americans are too weak to resist slick ads, doubt-casting, smearing, swiftboating. That's why it works.

My father was a racist and he never had one encounter with a black person. He just hated them from what he had heard. Disgusting isn't it. While I denounced his racism, I couldn't denounce my father because despite his racism and ignorance, he loved his family and me.
