Just so the newsguys don't always know the important stuff. A Boilermaker was a shot of lower shelf Rye like Fleishmann's or Schenley's used as a chaser for a draft beer. When you dropped the whole loaded shot glass ( glass and all) into the beer glass before drinking it was called a "Depth Charge "
