"When you start thinking of sexual energy as sacred, things begin to shift," says Kevin Courtney, a yoga teacher based in New York City. In other words, bringing increased awareness and sensitivity into each sexual experience will enhance your pleasure.

The purpose of yoga is too increase your chi (life energy) and free its flow. This also happens to be your sexual energy. Which, also happens to be your creative/artistic energy. It's all one and the same. This is also why monks and nuns (Christian and Buddhist as well as Hindu ascetics) practice celibacy: to "save" that energy for spiritual work. Let it flow~~~.

The energy centers are linked through the spine, starting at the base where our sex organs are. If you think Yoga is just about stimulating that area so you can get off more, you do the antient art a disservice and miss the point. The point being that we need to get out of our reptilian, lower energy field conscienceness, and climb the ladder to the divine self.
