A federal investigation has concluded that U.S. Sen. Joseph Lieberman's 2006 re-election campaign was to blame for the crash of its Web site the day before Connecticut's heated Aug. 8 Democratic primary.

The FBI office in New Haven found no evidence supporting the Lieberman campaign's allegations that supporters of primary challenger Ned Lamont of Greenwich were to blame for the Web site crash.

Joe Lieberman: what pleasure I get watching you humiliate yourself daily. I knew you were the wrong choice in 2000 as you chuckled along oh-so-chummily with Dick Cheney during the Vice-Presidential "debates" that were nothing of the sort. Boy, were you owned that evening. Perhaps you were all excited about the fluffing you would give him afterwards in the green room - I can't say with great certainty, but you were a disgrace then and you've continued on your downward trajectory ever since. Without a doubt, you have proven yourself to be the Loserman that the Repubs called you after the election. Joe Loserman - take another trip to your beloved Iraq and leave your worthless guts smeared all over a Baghdad market stall.

I'll bet a lot of Connecticut voters have a heavy duty case of buyer's remorse. I know that a CT newspaper that endorsed him apologized for the endorsement recently. Too late now.

Why did the good people of Connecticut vote for this CLOWN? They had a SUPERIOR candidate in Ned Lamont and they go ahead and vote for this pathetic Lieberman. So glad the grassroots kicked this buffoon out of the party.

One of the biggest satisfactions of having voted for the Green for President in 2000 (in a safe state) was that it means I never ever cast a vote for Joe Lieberman.

Oh, please let the Dems win at least one more Senate seat this election so they can tell LIEberman to get lost.

Wasn't this proved at the time? I remember reading a story about how the Lieberman people were so technically challenged they crashed their own website, only to blame Lamont!

Wow, a false flag operation -- who would have known? Wonder where Lieberman learned that from? The USS Liberty perhaps?

LOL

Of course Senator Lieberman will be going on national television tonight to apologize profusely to Mr. Lamont, right?

What? Since when does anybody who falsely claims or insinuates a current or imminent attack apologize?

Geeze...where do you live? 1970s America?

The mark of Republican governance: the people in charge don't know what's going on.

Lieberman, in order to begin restoring what little peace there was in the world, must go.

Oh Lieberman, Liberman where were you when McCain needed your care yesterday in the hearing? You must feel so bad you were not nursing him.

I agree. He's history next time around.

If Connecticut voters are smart, he'll be gone in the 2012 election. They wanted a Democrat, but instead they get a Republican-lite senator.
