I am really sick and tired of hearing them talk about their school loans. I have tens of thousands of dollars in school loans, but I know that if I am making over a hundred thou a year (which they have been making times 3,4,5,6,10 for over a decade now) I could get them paid off in no time. I really want to know why it took two people making a million dollars a year so long to pay off their school loans? For those of us making 50,000/year with the same amount of school loans, we don't want to hear your whiny story.

She's talking about her husband being handsome. She is married to him as she has been for years. She has every right to say whatever she wants about her husband, the man she has been married to for years. I am sure that Barack has been hearing Michelle speak this way about him for years. This isn't the first time she has admitted (and I have to agree) that he is one fine man. Any woman would be proud.

And yeah, gosh it's ashame Barack and Michelle Obama are so "smug." It's not like getting elected to the Senate and being within a hair's breadth of the presidency is anything to be proud of. They should be cringing in fear (like all black people) and keep their children locked up.

Since when have the Clintons been so modest? I'm sorry even Bill Clinton's own supporters admitted he was extremely "smug", "cocky" and "arrogant." One of our most "smug" presidents ever. So why the problem now?

I can't help but think, since pretty much every presidential couple has been smug, it has something to do with them being black. Otherwise what else is it? And do you or do you not have the same problem with Bill Clinton?

I have to say that I am a huge Obama supporter but his wife needs to put a lid on it. She definately doesn't have the charisma that her husband has been blessed with and while I appreciate her attempt at wit it just doesn't come across that well.

I am sure she is a very smart, gracious person but not the best on the political front. I think I would let her husband do the talking. :) GO OBAMA!

Just as I am trying to warm up and accept Obama if he should be the nominee, this woman Michelle Obama says something that makes me cringe and shudder at the prosepect of her being in the WH.
The Obama campaign will be better served by sending her off to Kenya for a vacation (she can get to know her in-laws) until November- but I support Hillary- so Michelle - please keep talking your mouth off !!

These remarks are such a small part of the story. If there were something
seriously wrong with Barack or Michelle, then we wouldn't have to focus
on some humorous remarks that some of us do not understand.

If you don't get the joke, why not just leave it at that? Did you ever hear a joke
told by George Bush that fell flatter than anything Michelle Obama ever said?

Looking at the pic of Obama reminds me someone needs to tell him he can't dance....what good is he as an "accessory" on the dance floor?

You are great, but you talk too much and take too much glee in tweaking the hubby. Put a cap on it for the duration, ok? The more you do that the more votes you lose, regardless of how you calculate it.

She's no Condi Rice thats for sure. Someone who tows the line and speaks lie after lie for a man show isnt even her husband. She isnt responsible for 4030 dead soldiers and countless others on her watch as Sec of State without a bit of remorse . Actually I think Condi and W are responsible for over 7000 dead --the 3000 from the twin towers who they ignored reports and threats on up to the day they happened , and the 4030 in Iraq.
Does anyone else see how hypocriticial our prez and his minions are: the general is reporting progress and violence down and for 2 days the ticker under him on the news is reporting US soldiers killed.

Love him or hate him---ya gotta admit that Barack would make quite a pretty/handsome accessory on anybody's arm!!!
