Report: Spy Photos Reveal 'Secret Launch Site' For Iran's Long-Range Missiles

I believe spy photos showed mobile weapons labs in Iraq as well. Hmm...

I believe, in the words of the prescient Secretary of State Rice, that this is a "grave and gathering danger". Moreover, I heard at the barber shop that Iranian exile sources on our payroll have learned that Iran has attempted to purchase yellow-cake uranium from Niger, and that there is solid evidence to prove it, including documents signed by the Minister of the Mines. Gosh, we cannot get McCain in office soon enough for my taste since Bush and Cheney are too faint-hearted to bomb early and fast enough to address this imminent threat.

Of course, at this point, NOTHING our government asserts is viewed with any credibility. That is one of the greater dangers this Bush administration has created for our nation.

As I look at this image, I do not see what would constitute a missile launching facility, but then, I am not an expert in these matters. Perhaps someone who knows more could suggest something in the photo that would represent such a facility...

Oh no! Next thing you know, they will be launching missles at defenseless nations causing the deaths of untold thousands and destroying nations.

Many Americans think Iranian people will roll over after a few bombs are dropped on them.

There seems to be some kind of reviewing stand and surrounding bleachers surrounding what looks like two tennis courts. There is also information from DigiGlobe that says it's a site used to test weapons. That information says that the Sahib missile site is not far from there. Check it out N 35 13 19, E 53 53 41.

Back on topic. The area indeed seems odd. However if you want to really look at it try putting these coordinates into your copy of Google Earth: N 35 13 19, E 53 53 41 . The Google pictures are a bit out of date as they don't have the building on the far right in them with the dark road leading through it. Judge for yourself what you think it is. Given the US intel apparatus history of intelligence being right, your estimate is probably just as good, if not better. Go ahead and look at it.

It looks like a quarry to me. The odd new building is a puzzle though. Perhaps to have trucks drive through to wash down the rocks?

Folks, remember all those photos the mainstream media showed us that were claimed to be Iraqi WMD sites? Then after the invasion they turned out to be rather benign? (In one case, a building marked as a biological weapons lab on a US photo turned out to be a bakery.)

Then there was the photo of an Iraqi nuclear facility that a sharp-eyed Google Earth user recognized as actually being in another country entirely?

With that sordid history in mind, let us take a real look at the photo from this article, which purports to show where Iran is "developing long-range ballistic missiles capable of reaching targets in Europe".

See any launch pads?

See any actual rockets?

See any trucks able to carry rockets?

See any rocket fuel trucks or storage tanks?

See any roads strong enough to hold heavy trucks with heavy rockets?

Read the entire article. The "evidence" that this is a facility to build long range rockets rests solely on the fact that the building is the same size and shape (rectangle) as a building the Chinese use to make a rocket. Talk about a clincher!
