In his New York Times column today, Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol claimed that Sen. Barack Obama's (D-IL) now-infamous "bitter" remarks sound like Karl Marx's "famous statement about religion." On the Brian and the Judge radio show today, Fox News' senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano asked Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) if Obama is "a Marxist as Bill Kristol says might be the case?"

"I must say that's a good question," replied Lieberman, before stepping back to say that he would "hesitate to say he's a Marxist":

Lieberman can also serve as McCain's fern policy altweisser and whisper sweet nothings into McCains ear while having a map to point to wherever he goes. He will simply say to McCain's ear, now, these are the bad guys, these are the good guys. Now, these can have nuclear facilities, these cannot. These cannot violate Geneva Conventions, oh, but these can. These can't violate UN Resolutions, but these can. These can accept the latest made US weaponry, these can go fly a kite.

And the world will be all a happier place; once the nuclear dust has settled.

Forget global warming. What the world will experience here will be more BANG for the failing buck.

"I am absolutely certain Connecticut is going to have the good sense to send Joe Lieberman back to the U.S. Senate so he can continue to serve on our behalf," he said.

¦Lieberman became Obama"s mentor when Obama was sworn into the Senate in 2005. They stayed close at Thursday night"s event, too, entering the room together and working the crowd in tandem.

I think that is a good question. He has the most liberal voting record in the senate. He comes down on the leftist side on every issue he has had to vote on. At no point has he ever said, "that is to far to the left for me to go." He also tends to surround himself by radical leftists like his minister. His words are devoid of substance and his actions show he at least leans to Marxism.

There are some very troubling tones in this conversation; many of them are outright antisemitic and right out of the Hammas strategy. Joe Lieberman happens to be Jewish. That does NOT make him an agent of Israel nor does that depict him as a Zionist. Extreme Islamic sects tend to conflate the three (Israelis, Zionist and Jews).

Jews in the United States are not of a single point of view - far from it. While I think that Liberman is a disgrace to his office, the fact that he is Jewish is entirely irrelevant. I would point out that the other independent in the Senate - Bernie Sanders of Vermont is also Jewish and differs radically from all things Lieberman. He is a self-described democratic socialist which I find rather ironic in light of the thread topic.

You're right. Lieberman happens to be Jewish, and that doesn't make him an agent of Israel. There is no causality there.

But the truth in this case is, that he is Jewish. (full stop). He is an agent of Israel. (full stop). No necessary connection, other than Israel is a Jewish state, and is officially such.

The Anti-Semite charge is a cannard that is pulled out everytime some questions Israel's action. That is one country that there is a history, and a very evident track record of spying on America, turning Americans, and doing serious harm to this country -- more so than the Soviets ever did, and going back farther, our actual enemies (imperial Japan, Nazi Germany...).

So why is it always Anti-Semitic to point that out???
