***UPDATE***
Jenna Bush and Henry Hager were married on May 10th in Crawford, Texas. Read all about Jenna's wedding here.

Jenna Bush's wedding to Henry Hager is less than a month away and Vogue has the details on who is wearing what. The Washington Post's Amy Argetsinger and Roxanne Roberts pulled some of the info from the magazine. Read more from the Post.

Jenna Bush will wear a "simple and elegant" wedding gown designed by Oscar de la Renta at her May 10 wedding: organza with embroidery, matte beading and a small train -- and yet "still casual." But don't expect any pictures beforehand: Fiance and "major traditionalist" Henry Hager doesn't want to see the dress until she walks down the aisle.

In an interview in the upcoming issue of Vogue we obtained, Jenna reveals that 200 friends and family will attend the informal ceremony at the family's Crawford ranch. The festivities kick off outside at 7:30 p.m. (to beat the heat), followed by dinner and dancing underneath a tent. "I was raised in Texas and it just felt right," she said. "It means a lot to Henry and me to be outdoors. We wanted something organic and low key." She said she considered a White House wedding but decided against it: "That's not really my personality. There's a glamour to it, I know, but Henry and I are far less glamorous than the White House."

Here's the sketch of the bridesmaids' dresses:

Breaking news.

HuffPo throws some red meat to the progressives with a JENNA BUSH thread!

I have lots of feelings about her father but this is not the place to spew them.

I hope she has a lovely wedding.

I like it that she's not going to force some big splashy White House event down our throats.

A low key, organic wedding is appropriate for the times, given the poor economy, the heath care crises, and the two wars that we can't seem to win.

I was thinking -- children often resemble their grandparents more than their parents when it comes to matters like religion and politics.

I wonder if Jenna takes after her grandfather when it comes to politics. If so then she's probably not very happy with her Dad's administration either.

That would be another good reason to avoid a White House wedding.

Get a grip people. Everyone dumps on Jenna but Jenna is a PEACH!! She struck out on her own, wrote a book, and showed empathy with poor people in another country. It's prim and proper Yalie BARBARA, that nobody dumps on, who is the TYPICAL toxic Bush-as-usual. Look carefully at the faces of the two girls and you'll figure it out.

Change "wrote a book" to "had daddy's friends pay some poor schmuck to write a book."

Aahh more raw meat for the anti Bush crowd. Judging by many of these posts it seems dinner is about to be served.

some of these comments would be truly pathetic if they weren't so over-the-top in their hatred.

get a grip little boys and girls. let's pretend for a moment to be adults, okay?

You wanna see hatred - how about the Bush administration for the American people.Remember "Bring it on".

Remember looking him under the drapes for the WMD's ?

THATS hatred in the form of contempt.Guess what goes around comes around.

What's that have to do with Jenn Bush's wedding plans?

It makes me ashamed to be a citizen of the same country as the "haters" her. My advise, get a life. Join the Army or serve your country in some other fashion. Stop being assholes.

if you call having a life advising people to join the Army you must not have much of one yourself.

It would be sweet if they took Bush with them on their honeymoon to Basra, Iraq. Hotel rooms are cheap and empty. That way cheap living and a view of the war with even Jenna and her new husband just possibly picking up a rifle.

No, this one will be reimbursed by corporate America, plus a bunch of stupid universities which will spend tens of thousands of tuition dollars paying members of this family to give speeches.

Keep moving folks- nothing to read here. Just scatalogical writings of barely literate people. Claim to be liberals and champions of freedom. True as long as you're "their kind of people". Leave the reservation however, and the insults fly.

Hate in all its ignorance is on prominent display. Not pretty.

Personally I feel the Bu$h Twins should be out of bounds for public scrutiny. Who Cares if they like to party. Who doesn't. Not their fault they were born into a crime family. Good Luck to both. But I hope some day to see their piece of shit Father held accountable for his crimes against humanity.

her Fianceeh works in the Bush administration and helped Rove with Bush's last campaign .his dad was head of the Va. Repug party. It has nothing to do with how much they like to party. - its the people they party with .Spoile Repug kids who support a war they won't serve in.

I hope for Jenna that she has a nice wedding and that she has fun. I hope also that she has a good marriage..for her sake. However, I don't want to hear one more story on it. She can't help who her father is, and she could have been abit more of a wise and caring young woman. We don't know more than her drinking habits but still....she made a wise choice not to get married in the WH and I think she had the right reasons. So maybe we should just not be condeming her at this time quite so much, over this anyway.

1) Is she in trouble?
2) Will she go off to Iraq after the honeymoon to fight the war on terror?

answers

1) For heavens sake no! She's no fast count Nancy Reagan!

2) For heavens sake no! To paraphrase the words of Leona Helmsley, only the little people go to Iraq.

How many people remember Mayor Marion Barry smoking crack while in office?
Everybody talked about it....AMAZING, republicans elected someone that only got C's and D's in school, got drunk on a regular AND used cocaine. What does that say about the republicans ability to judge anything...NOT ONLY THAT, they did it twice...NOW look at the reproduction of the dumbazz president...Henry does not look like he is happy. He looks like.." if she wasn't connected I would leave her where she is standing".

You do realize that Bush graduated with a higher GPA than Kerry did right?

Are you sure your Dr. has cleared you for computer time?

I'm thinking you need to adjust your medication.

You realize that Kerry went and fought a war while Bush did everything within his power to avoid it - even disappearing for several months from his bought-and-paid-for vacation spot in the Texas National Guard. This from the war president. Disgrace is too kind a term for a person who sends others to die when he and his minions actively avoided their call to serve.

Yet Kerry ultimately decried the war - a matter of conscience. He earned that right by being there and serving honorably. You see, not everyone's "ideals" are bought and sold in the political marketplace. Of course, I wouldn't expect you to understand.

"You do realize that Bush graduated with a higher GPA than Kerry did right?"

Hmm, you think poppy Bush, former CIA head honcho, couldn't threaten a few people at Harvard? Read what Dubya's Harvard teacher thinks of him:

Tsurumi"now a professor of international business at Baruch College in the City University of New York"said he remembers the future president as scoring in the bottom 10 percent of students in the class.
Thirty years after teaching the class, Tsurumi said the twenty-something Bush"s statements and behavior""always very shallow""still stand out in his mind.
"Whenever [Bush] just bumped into me, he had some flippant statement to make," said Tsurumi when reached at his home in Scarsdale, N.Y. "The comments he made were revealing of his prejudice."
