Clinton Forced To Cut Speech Short Because Of Chatty Crowd

Hillary Clinton was forced to cut her normal stump speech short when a chatty and meddlesome crowd kept her from grasping their attention. Clinton, who was addressing the Philadelphia County Democratic Party's Jefferson-Jackson Dinner, spoke for just over five minutes, despite having the press arrive almost two hours beforehand.

The crowd never settled down during her remarks. A spokesman for Clinton denied that she cut the speech short, and told reporters that Clinton was advised by her Pennsylvania team to deliver "a short speech" given the set up of the event.

According to the comments on this post I am at a loss as to why anyone would vote for any one of the media candidates: Hillary, Obama, or McCain. Well, faced with such a miserable collection, there is yet hope for those who still think that voting does make a difference. The media, by avoiding mention of Ron Paul has done him a favor. I am sure there are lists of lies just as long for Obama and McCain. They are all politicians. This is simply another sad election of voting for what you consider to be the lesser of two evils. Most of Clintons ills are on the table. Most of McCains are on the table as well. Most of Obama's are yet to be placed there and for many that is scarier than knowing just what you are voting for.

And your point is? I think you are presuming to understand someone who grew up on the wrong side of Chicago and worked very hard to get the education she has. She as a black person has known racism first hand and she has had to deal with it with generations of those before her as well as with her own children. What have you dealt with? After being put down as second class citizens for being female, we still earn less than men at the same jobs, I can only imagine the hell that comes from adding on being black. After the fighting racism and preconceived ideas Michelle has reached positions now being opened up to women and with being black that trip to those jobs had to be harder than most will ever face. I can understand being proud as the last 3-4-5 presidents have done little to make US proud. Think before you write and try to see other peoples life struggles before being flippant.
