Clinton sketches agenda for first 100 days as president

WASHINGTON — Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton is sketching an agenda for her first 100 days in office that includes the beginning of a troop withdrawal from Iraq and signing legislation that President Bush vetoed.

The New York senator said Tuesday, "In short, starting from Day One, the Bush-Cheney era will be over in name and in practice."

Looking beyond the competitive race for the Democratic nomination, she also said that within 100 days of becoming president, she would ask Congress to reverse some of Bush's tax cuts, tackle global warming and urge Canada and Mexico to renegotiate NAFTA.

Clinton made her remarks in an appearance before newspaper editors at their annual convention.

Day One give a big speech to the American people filled with lies.

Day Two start her real agenda. Start renting out the Lincoln Bedroom for campaign contributions.

Day Three get together in private will all the health insurance companies and show them that their campaign contributions are going to be rewarded by sticking it to the people who cannot afford mandated health care.

Day Four sign a treaty with Iraq to set up permanent bases so she can pay the military industrial complex back for their donations.

Day Five the first big scandal breaks out in the Clinton white house it turns out she used funds that were only supposed to be used in her general election to fund her fear and smear campaign against Obama.

Day Six an independent prosecutor is appointed by Congress to look into a cyber break in to Obama's campaign's computer systems used to help Hillary steal the nomination.

Day Seven impeachment hearing start for another Clinton.

Day 100 the impeachment is completed and Obama is sworn in as the new president.

Actually she's planning only 99 days, from day 2 through day 100, as she was already able to take over on Day One and knows what she was intending to do. She'll be attending the inauguration in a parachute, as she's going to do a HALO (high altitude, low opening) jump because she'll be coming in straight from her black ops assignment in Iraq.

Hillary's campaign demonstrates yet again why she's such a skilled practitioner of the old smash and smear politics. The Charlie Rose segment on Hillary's latest attempt to inject a divisive non issue into the campaign clearly shows she deliberate attempt to "swift boat" Obama with a key voter segment by creating and exploiting the "bitter" controversy. A video from a 2004 Rose interview reveals Obama's position on these matters and resonantes with a respect for the values of these voters while recognizing their frustration at being forgotten by Washington. And this is a reflection of Obama's attitudes before he was running for President. Although not as well expressed, nevertheless they haven't changed.

Hillary has joined in an unholy conspiracy with John McCain to destroy Obama. The only difference is Hillary is more transparently feverent in her practice of "swift boat destruction". In other words Hillary is much more like Carl Rove and George Bush than McCain. Throughout the campaign Hillary has lied, distorted her record and smeared Obama. However, more important her "swift boat" tactics demonstrate a cynical contempt for the voter because she treats us like we're stupid! The only 100 days Hillary will have to plan for are those defending herself and Bill against angry and "bitter" Democrats who may have lost an opportunity for Obama to retake the White House and increase Congressional Majorities because of Hillary's destructive, divisive and cynical campaign.

I really tried to not say nasty things in this contest.

But after Esther.. ..rather.. Hillary lied Sunday night about her being led by the holy spirit, and her first "bitterness" attack ad airing on the local PA TV station, I am absolutely sickened by this woman. I wouldn't let her be a cleaning lady in the white house. She is dividing the democratic party, all the while thriving on her scorched earth politics. I don't think the party will heal in time for November.

For the first 100 days after January 20, 2009 I would suggest a world cruise followed by doing the party circuit. Maybe more shooters and beers with the little people. No need to rush. She will have plenty of time on her hands.

It looks like a very good 100 day plan from what I've seen. What her plan lacks is the groundswell of support needed to bring about most of its aims. Her style and her political connections will likely limit what she can accomplish to only plans and programs without a change in the tone of our public discourse. We need to become a community in order to do the really big things that can get us out of our polarized cycle of self-interest. She has not demonstrated to me any inclination or ability to get beyond the destructive politics she has been emersed in since the 80's. Obama gives me hope, and deserves credit for the restraint shown so far given the straw-man attacks he has had to deal with.

Hillary didn't mention when that first 100 days would be. She is now looking at 2012. That's after she loses the nomination, but makes sure she and Bill do everything they can to tear down Obama. She would like to be president this time, but since she has lost the nomination she will use the time to her advantage and do her best to make sure Obama isn't president. That way she can run again in 2012. It doesn't work that way. We won't forget. The presidency should have easily been the Dems this year, but Hillary ran a poor campaign and then is doing her best to make sure Obama goes down with her. If she were taking him down on valid issues that would be one thing. But, she is making sure that she keeps Rev Wright and now this statement on bitter Americans in the media. What did Obama do when Hillary was caught lying about Nafta, Bosnia, etc. Nothing. He didn't go after another Democrat. I can tell you that I am a bitter American. I get more bitter by the day as I watch the Clintons put their own interests before the interest of the Dem party and everyone else. And, if I see one more picture of Hillary pointing and smiling I am going to get sick! Who is she pointing and smiling at?
