ust when did Montana politico Bill Kennedy decide to endorse Hillary Clinton?

The Clinton campaign has suggested the Yellowstone County commissioner picked Clinton only after he heard Barack Obama's now famous "bitter" comments. But Kennedy told FOX News on Tuesday that he decided on Clinton long before that.

"I had been leaning toward Hillary for months," Kennedy said. "I actually decided to endorse her two weeks ago."

Why can't she stop lying???

hard to imagine why people still look to her as a leader - if i had been a hrc supporter from why back i would be very disappointed that she has failed me as a leader and as someone who could have been the first woman president.

Campaign and candidate, habitual LIARS...

You mean, she lied to make herself look better?

There's a shock! Given her propensity to amend the truth to better fit her message du jour, the press needs to carefully analyze everything this woman says. Next she will be telling us that she is a natural blonde.

Hillary, Can't you get your facts straight. The last person we need in the white house is someone who makes up facts to suit an agenda. We've been there and it hasn't worked, or didn't you notice?

What bothers me more is that you must think you can say these things without getting caught...... now THAT is out of touch!! It is also stupid and arrogant!!!!!

I guess Hillary wanted her own Richardson endorsement (having lost the one she had). But, since it didn't exist, she had to lie about it.

Maybe she went with Hillary because of this:

Lies and misleading supporters about Obama's record on choice in NH
Lies about Obama's statements re: Reagan in SC
Lies about NAFTA
Lies about Ireland
Lies about Bosnia
Lies about SCHIP
LIes about position on MI/FL
Lies about release of tax records
Lies about phony questions planted in audiences
Lies about sleep deprivation causing - she said it multiple times
Lies about Sinbad... she called him the liar
Lies about Obama being elitist
Lies about Colombia - Among Penn's clients are Countrywide Financial, nation's largest mortgage lender, Blackwater - under investigation deaths of civilians
Lies about delegates
Lies about staying off ballots
Lies about superdelegates
Lies about Texas
Lies about supporting the war
Lies about ducks (not yet proven, but wait)

Is this something new?

"Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation " one of only three people who earned that dubious distinction in Zeifman"s 17-year career.

Why?

'Because she was a liar,' Zeifman said in an interview last week. 'She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.'"

Wow, that Jerry Zeifman diary would certainly be worth having a look at.

He's got a book to sell (about Hillary), so I'm initially skeptical, but perhaps some enterprising young reporter (or blogger, if reporters are fresh out of the "enterprising" business) might want to give Mr. Zeifman a call.

Actually, it's hilarious how rethugs latched on to the "Bitter" line, as well as Hillary, and it's already starting to make the BIG fat circle all the way around the country to bite 'em right square on the butt!!

They were so stupid to think they could get between people and how bad they know they have it, and try to say- "Oh no, they're not mad, BITTER, or unhappy! They're PROUD Americans!!!"
"-Right folks?" ... and the applause sign lights up!!!!
but nobody claps.
Instead the big majority of us are going- "Wait a minute!" THIS MAN"S TELLING IT LIKE IT IS!!!"
Change the channel. Turn the damn thing off. Im just glad I know the real truth.

Go Obama!

Bill Kennedy is *NOT* a superdelegate. He's the local county commissioner that started running for the House and then dropped out. Bit of a dweeb. I was supporting him for the House (nobody else wanted to take on the incumbent republican), but now that he's pulled this super dweeby move, I'm going to write to him and tell him that he's cooked as far as I am concerned.

Our governor and 2 senators (Tester and Baucus) have not declared and probably won't do so until after our primary on 6/3. Of the 5 at-large Supers, 2 have endorsed Obama, 1 did but had to retract due to party rules forbidding endorsement, and 2 have remained mum.

Be nice to us. We might possibly (very slightly) turn blue for Obama (but not for Clinton).

She obviously has a mandate from the people.

These were Democrats, right?

sounds like there was no leadership in that room.

This thread is yet another pathetic attempt to portray Hillary as a liar...guess what? It won't work. The people who support Hillary will take her any day over the egomaniacal, snob of a candidate she's running against. By the way, he lies...he does not recall meeting Auchi, but was invited to and attended his party?

Is the Clinton campaign incapable of telling the truth? Or are they just cynical and stupid? So many missteps, have they done anything right this campaign?

What's this? Another "misspeak" from the Clinton? Well I am shocked!

Good luck in my home state of PA, Ms. Pants on Fire Clinton - NOT!

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:07 PM on 04/15/2008

Please get out everyone you know in PA to vote -- this is the chance to end it so that we can start focusing on McCain and taking back the White House.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:20 PM on 04/15/2008

Exactly. the most electable democrat should go up against McCain as soon as possible. Too much democracy right now for the democrats. Let's shut out either the black and young voters or the old women/baby-boomers and feminist voters and see how far we get. Blacks and young people and old ladies all are invested in the symbolism of their candidates. So shut one of those groups out and let's see what happens! Hello President McCain. That's the predicament we're in (if you consider yourself a democrat and not someone who will defect to McCain if your symbol isn't nominate). It's hard to see a solution leading to a democratic White House right now that doesn't include a voteboth.com scenario...

The Clinton camps big decision: Do we call this a Faux pas or a misspeak? hahahahahahaha!

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:03 PM on 04/15/2008

We blame it on a staffer who "simply got it wrong." And, of course, the staffer shall remain nameless. If it had worked, then Hillary would be crowing it herself from the top of every podium she could reach.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:51 PM on 04/15/2008

Why do you think Hillary Clinton supporters go to Fox to make comments?

I find that concerning.

Because even Faux News knows that she's one of them.

Another big fat lie from the Clintons. Do these people know the meaning of honesty?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 08:37 PM on 04/15/2008

Another BS article from HuffPo not checking out the facts and a Montana Newspaper quoted Kennedy saying what Hillary said he said and yes he was leaning toward Hillary but didn't endorse her until after obama came out in answering a question why he can't win PA that its because small towners in PA and across the Midwest are bitter and cling to guns, god, and bigotry, not only is obama an arrogant sob, he is ignorant, as are his supporters. And then Kennedy endorsed Hillary, so stick it obamabots.

sjl106,
Maybe you like Hil-liar-y read, see and hear things where they are not.

"He explained he saw Clinton speak on April 5 (**bittergate broke April 11**) in Butte, Mont., at the Mansfield-Metcalf Dinner, the state"s annual Democratic dinner.

"I had been very impressed with Senator Clinton over the last few months," he said.

Asked if hearing her speak at the dinner had been the deciding factor for him, Kennedy replied, "Yes.""

I am sorry, but I can read and comprehend pretty well, sometimes, and this is one of those times.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:32 PM on 04/15/2008

Good points, but could we please never see the word "bittergate" again? I heard a journalist trying it out on MSNBC this morning.

Watergate was a serious crime. So called, "Travelgate" was a stupid effort by Republicans to make "something out of nothing".

"Bittergate" is a lie. Let's just put the whole "Mayhill Fowler Undercover Mission for Hillary" to rest. Does the press really hate to cover, you know, ISSUES that affect our lives and future?

That no scandals of the Bush years (and there have been so many of impeachment-level importance) have been labeled "-gate", show how pointless it is to use it for all these little campaign things. They're just not that important.

FYI

Sir Elton John"s recent performance at a fund-raising event for Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton has drawn a formal complaint from Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group.

Mr. John, a foreign national, cannot under federal law make any
contribution to a federal, state or local election campaign. The group,
in a letter from its president, Tom Fitton, described Mr. John"s
appearance at the fund-raiser as an "in-kind contribution from a
foreign national."

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 08:30 PM on 04/15/2008

...and you obama supporters claim that Hillary touts GOP talking points. This issue was settled and the Elton John fundraiser is ok according to the FEC. Get over it and quit grasping at straws.

More election violations? Why am I not surprised.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:53 PM on 04/15/2008

That was my thought immediately as well, but not seeing it anywhere else I figured I was wrong.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:06 PM on 04/15/2008

Given that the Clintons were donors / fundraisers for Elton's charity, this certainly seems like a reasonable assumption.

That will probably not help when that April 24, 2008 campaign fraud trial starts.
