The cameras will be turned around when Barbara Walters becomes the subject, rather than the host, of an ABC special, according to the New York Post.

Walters, who was among the pioneers of celebrity interviews and regularly hosts "Barbara Walters Specials" around events like the Oscars or her "Most Fascinating People," recently penned a retrospective called Audition: A Memoir. According to the Post, the ABC show, which will air May 7 and is titled "Audition: Barbara Walters' Journey," will explore Walters' "three marriages, several serious romances with well-known celebrities and the difficulties she faced during her career as one of the first high-profile female news personalities."

The broadcast will be anchored by Charlie Gibson, who was widely panned for his performance hosting last night's debate.

Barbara chose to shield Georgie and Charlie from the public this morning on The View, so I will not be watching any Barbara Walters specials, or the view ever again. It's a farce when you can't even admit on your own show that they f***** it up royally.

perhaps it is you who have lost yours - they did a disservice to both candidates no matter who you are for - it was a farce and just because you are on the other side - doesn't mean we have lost perspective.

Has tabloid journalism become the issues of a debate? Go watch E or TMZ if that's what you're looking for - some of us would like to know what is going to be done in regard to the economy and gas prices, jobs being shipped to foreign countries and health care.

And btw If Kissenger and Greenspan aren't the ugliest men I ever saw ,I don't know who is! Cheri Otari (formerly SNL) on the other hand, does a MUCH better Baba Wawa than the original.

Must be a lot to tell after 78 years on the planet. She might want to give the skin-bun on top of her head a quarter turn before the interview though...it'll help to tighten things up a bit. Broaden that smile just a touch. Kinda hard to maintain that youthful 50's look without a little "help". Hey...80's the new 78!

She's one of the few interviewers around, like Larry King, who are actually older than Mad Dog McCain. She was 12 year old when Pearl Harbor was attacked! That's OLD...not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's obvious from her "look" that she ain't buying into the concept of growing old gracefully.

I think Barbara Walters is a cautious professional who has worn well and provided an important role model for subsequent female journalists. I do miss her natural and unique facial structure which has been progressively modified to fit a standardized beauty template.

Barbara Walters says Barrack Obama is sexy. - as told to the girls on The View.
But I had a good long look at him last night and I have to tell you, he's not that good-looking.
He's got this stretchy, rubbery skin around his mouth. It looks alien. And he looks smug( which is not an attractive look)

Another thing I've noticed - When Barrack is talking Hillary will look at him, but when Hillary talks Barrack looks away. Its kind of a snobby thing, maybe that's what Barbara Walters likes about him . Snobby is sexy.
