British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, visiting the U.S., held a joint press conference with President Bush this afternoon. One reporter asked the two leaders if the "special relationship" between the U.S. and Britain had been damaged during the years when Tony Blair was Prime Minister. Bush assured everyone that the relationship was strong, and still special, and that he and Brown had a great personal relationship.

Bush then elaborated on why this should be obvious: "Look, if there wasn't a personal relationship, I wouldn't be inviting the man to a nice hamburger, or something. Well-done, I might add."

We're not really sure what Bush meant with that "well-done" comment, so let us know what you think in the comments.

It amazes me how such an accurate caricature Lil Bush is of the real thing. I could totally see this on Lil Bush.

Did anybody else notice all those nasal noises in between each word that fell from our glorious kings lips?

Sounds like all those years of doing cocaine messed up his nasal passages. Just like his lack of brain cells, his hatred for the constitution, and his love of torture made him our worst president¦EVER.

The British overcook everything. That's why Brown was offered a "well-done" hamburger.

Well done. It means he can't deal with the blood. Blood spilled by his administration.

I have to admit, if the economy wasn't a problem and the war in Iraq wasn't such a disaster, I am almost beginning to think I might miss this idiot. The comments are so ridiculous that it is amusing. I find that it is almost comic relief from the stress of the day.

Take that back, I won't miss him.

Maybe Angela Merkel could come over for a nice back rub.

McCain got a hot dog lunch on the day Bush "endorsed" him. Gordon Brown gets a burned hamburger (probably infected with mad cow.) The Pope gives "awesome" speeches. Is Bush going skateboarding next? Radical... that's one gnarly dude who's not even fakey 980... dude...dude... DUDE!!!!

Just one more entertaining item that illustrates how dynasty, money, and an Ivy League education doesn't mean much when you're George Bush. W's bizarre comments are about the only thing I'm going to really miss when the criminal is finally out of the White House.

I'm speechless. Pity George isn't.

How many more days. The country has dumbed down enough for Christ sake.

You want some fries with that burger?

Yesterday he tells the Holy Father (Pope) that he gave an "awesome speech"!

Who is this person that I did NOT elect president? How could it be?

I think Bush's brain might have been a little well-done from standing in the sun.

Anyway, I can't believe the story didn't reference this statement from Bush: "The most severe problem is the willingness of people to murder innocent people to achieve their political objectives. I mean, this is the fundamental threat facing civilization in the 21st century. And Prime Minister Brown sees the threat. ... Our relationship is very special."

Special in the sense that Brown would have a 'relationship' with someone who is murdering innocent people to achieve political objectives.
