Have you guys ever noticed that whenever there's a recession, the media suddenly write lots of sob stories about yuppies struggling to make their SUV payments? What about the people who have been poor all along? We don't hear much about THEM!

Aww poor widdle Ivy Leaguers, instead of getting twice the median income as a salary at their first permanent job they are going to have to settle for one and half times as much. My heart bleeds......

It's good to lose a job occasionally. Keeps things in perspective. Maybe after they get back they will have a more realistic perspective that there are working people behind some of that money, not just numbers.
