BREAKING NO SPIN NEWS: Barack Spokesman Calls O'Reilly A Hypocrite For Demeaning Obama's Faith

During a New Hampshire visit to a Barack Obama rally, Fox News host, Bill O'Reilly, followed his "Don't block the shot" moment (and imminent t-shirt blurb), by asking the candidate if he would come on to his Factor show. Obama told Bill he would consider it AFTER the primaries.

While some might take putting off the visit until after the primaries as something of a snub, O'Reilly considered it a coup. That coup just might have run out of ammunition.

Just before last week's debate, O'Reilly said on his TV Factor that Obama goes to Reverend Jeremiah Wright's church for only one reason - political expediency.

"Obama built his power by hanging around with the left. That's why he was in Wright's church. He didn't care who Wright was, it helped him politically, so he hung there."

I asked Bucks County U.S. Congressman, Patrick Murphy, the House's first Iraq war veteran, who has been on the Obama team from the outset, to comment on O'Reilly's statement.

"I'm an Irish Catholic," said a smiling Murphy. "O'Reilly's an Irish Catholic. For him to think he knows why (Obama) goes to his church is hypocritical."

Asked whether Obama, after knowing that Bill had said that he uses his church for political convenience, will hold to his pledge to go on O'Reilly's show, Murphy told me that I'd have to ask Obama.

Clinton / Columbia trade deal goes back a long way, why doesn't Hillary mention that? I assume she's involved, speaks with fork tongue as usual. Howard Wolfson also tied to this fiasco, both with Glover Park Group..includes, many politician's, Mark Penn, Clinton's, Joe Lockhart etc., this company founded by the Clinton administration. There are so many diversion's of companies for one goal its astounding.

Bill Clinton gobbled up $800,000 in 'speaking fees', from a "Columbian free trade agreement group"; a "Colombia is Passion" award bestowed by President Uribe; and a sweet Colombian oil field deal for a company Clinton pal Frank Giustra's investment firm. and whom Bill personally introduced to the uranium deal in Kazakhstan.

As President, Bill Clinton had initiated Plan Colombia, a $1.3 billion aid package to escalate the war on drugs 'apparently'.....thought it wasn't working so initiated another billion to Colombia. Clinton also sighned a waiver of human rights provisions that Congress had imposed on Colombia.

The story of how Clinton funneled all that money to Colombia is a textbook case of how much that is wrong with the way our political system operates.
He has earned the distinguished award of the Globe and all it's people....all of humanity...he was awarded the "UGLIEST AMERICAN AWARD"....BY ALL THE NATIONS IN THE WORLD

I see no need for Obama o be obligated to give O'Reilly an interview. I wouldn't. He's not a respectable journalist. Honestly, I wouldn't give O'Reilly and Faux news the time of day.

Barack goes to Reverend Jeremiah Wright's church for only one reason - political expediency. It may have been true at first but Barack said in his book (Audacity of Hope) that he found the lord. This was before any Presidency stuff. In addition, Barack married in the church, children was babtised in the church. What O'Reilly is says does not make sense now.

The first time any of us started going to a church there had to be something we felt for the congregation and the pastor to stay.

What I don't understand is why McCain and Hillary's church has not been looked into. This is the reason whey Obama supporters feel hitting Obama all the time is unfair. Hillary is going to court next month an no one is reporting it.

Please explain to me how "he would consider" going on the O'Reilly from your first paragraph becomes a "pledge" by your closing paragraph? Tha's almost as bad as McCain's insistence that Obama "pledged" to accept public financing because of his own anemic fundraising performance.

This is not the right place for this comment. The vast majority of Obama supporters do not feel a need to unjustifiablely bash Clinton. We do it when she deservses it. When you do it on a gratuitous basis it makes everybody look bad.

Bill O'Reilly isn't the only hypocrite.....as we look at Pennsylvania 24 hours before they vote, the voter's supporting Clinton appear to have the same hypocrisy, FORGIVIN the most corrupt duo in U.S. history. Has this state progressed since the civil rights act initiation, or is it using their faith and racism to win this corrupt complacency with their own prejudice's.

The only time voters are heard is through their vote...and this polling suggests the pennsylvania people, either haven't figured out the persona of this 'unstable', 'wreckless', irrisponsible couple.....but think of America not just yourselves. Around the world we watch. Their 'international' pick for President of United Sates of America is Obama, no question.. We all have been damaged by the same 'ugly Americans' as you have.

Fox has done nothing but Obama bashing from the start of this race. Going on O'Reilly's show would serve no positive purpose what so ever. The only thing that would happen is that he would be hit with a bunch of inappropriate slimeball questions, to which there is no right answer.

It needs to be remembered that trying reason with the rabid right, of which O'Reilly is there most vocal member, is like trying to reason with a rabid dog. Obama is far better off just letting Bill foam at the mouth and bark in the corner.
