Clinton, speaking to reporters in Conshohocken just now, said she'd campaign for a united Democratic Party, no matter who's the nominee.

"Anybody who supports Barack or me would be very foolish to think voting for Senator McCain makes any sense," she said.

There are those who believe that the political scene needs to heal - yes there should be some time for that, and then, like you are dealing with an unmarried pregnant woman, one needs to get on with what one must do.

Is Pelosi related to Bela Lagosi? She might be - she certainly scares me !

Anyone would be better than Bush. Even Cheney would be twice as good. They should IMPEACH BUSH NOW ! Why Wait? The financial system is broken, the Chinese trade is ruining our economy, the North American Union is dumb and plans are continuing, the border is becoming a real mess, and the war situation is stagnant.

Is Nancy Pelosi the only obstacle? My God, what are people waiting for? A totally broken down country?

If HRC is so Great, why is she in such bad shape?

Nothing is going well for her.

Rules say it is a race for delegates, she can't beat him there so she says it is about pop vote.

When she admits that she can't catch him there either, she will change it to something else.

Only HRC states count for "important". she lost twice as many states as she won. Loosing in every catagory. Can't raise money. Any money she does raise is tripled by obama.

Being outspent is nothing to brag about. It means only one thing>>>>you are loosing and no one wants to support you.

Well, Hillary, I won't vote for you.
Okay, I won't vote for McCain.
I'll write in Obama if I have to, even if it means that McCain will win.
I just won't vote for you.
My husband won't vote for you.
My son won't vote for you.
Why?
Because you spin like a Republican, you campaign like a Republican, and you have given us every reason to believe that you care more about yourself than your country.
Stop.
Hurting.
America.

the pundits are getting me dizzy with this spinning.and the emphasizes on money. now if hillary was spending with money in the bank they would be praising her. and her time for bowing out gracefully has long past.

From my point of view (Nader voter) Hillary's supporters are right wing extremists. If they are just pissed off they can stay home and say "take that". But if they vote, it seems logical that they would vote for McCain. As far as I know he will be the only totalitarian on the ballot. Many of course are loyal partisans and will vote for Obama. I expect McCain to carry my state, Louisiana. But if it looks close I will vote for Obama. Otherwise I will vote for Nader.

Clinton voters might as well support McCain if their heroine doesn't get the nomination. There's not much difference between the two.

And for you OBAMA supporters that continue with your BS....if he makes it to the Gen Election he will never win it without Clinton supporters..

So why would your candidate not appreciate the same thing? Why tear down the ultimate and obvious candidate of the party? Ego? Greed? Some bizarre mental illness? The supporters of Obama are upset for good reason. Hillary cares more about herself than winning., It doesn't help the cause one bit to continue this farce when it is so obvious it is over. We could be and should be spending our time coming together and fighting the real enemy, McBush!

The big question for the general wont be the "who". It will be the issues.

Voting for McCain instead of either of the dems, is saying yes to war, bush tax cuts, conservative supreme court justices, loss of jobs ect........

Supporters from either side shouldn't be fooled by what you may or may not feel right now. In the end, I am willing to bet it is all about the issues.

Sounds kinda bitter, huh. I guess Obama was right!

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 06:44 PM on 04/22/2008

That is the polar opposite of what she said a few months ago when she said she AND McCain were ready for the presidency, but Obama was not.

Of COURSE, she would prefer it if Obama is the candidate that McCain wins the election....that would keep the seat warmer for her in '12. That is the same reasoning that caused her and Bill to not campaign with any sincerity or duration for both of the Democrats who ought to have followed them into the White House. Better for HER (and for him if HE wants to get back into the White House) if Bush won. Does anybody seriously think that if BC had managed to keep his pants zipped, and had campaigned for Gore and Kerry that we would have had 8 years of Bush?

Hillary I like you, but unfortunately you are not the boss of me. I will not support Obama just because you tell me to do that if I don't believe in him, no more that I would expect Obama supporters who have been here calling you evil and a bitch from hell to vote for you. I'm blessed with free will and I plan on using it.

It is truly sad that she has to state the very obvious to some of cult-style fans of both candidates. I have no doubt whatsoever that the losing candidate will support and campaign for the nominee. Even from a purely calculating point of view, the loser would be committing political suicide by not supporting the nominee. I doubt very much that either Clinton or Obama would have a bright future in the republican party after committing political suicide in the democratic party. It's time for the immature groupies to sit down and shut up, and let the primary process run its course.

WHY DI I HATE HILLARY SO MUCH, WHY,WHY IS SHE SUCH A LIAR, WHY DO OLD WOMEN BELIEVE HILLARY DESERVES TO BE THE PRESIDENT, HILLARY IS GOING DOWN IN NORTH CAROLINA

Hillary has open 10 offices in North Carolina.

So NC is going to vote for Obama. And that is a shock to whom? Not to me or Hillary. I think Hillary should just bypass NC and save whatever dimes she has left and spend them somewhere else. Most black Americans have made it pretty clear to anyone who care to listen that they don't care to hear from you if you're not Obama. There's is nothing worst than talking to a wall. Well throwing money at a wall and expecting it to respond is worst.

I'm an "old woman" and I beg to differ.
I would like the BEST HUMAN to be President.

I am supporting the candidate who has run the best campaign with exemplary fiscal responsibility.

I cannot support the candidate who has mismanaged and disorganized campaign and remains in debt to vendors.

Well said. I find it very difficult to believe promises re healthcare from somebody who is in arrears in paying healthcare premiums for her own employees. Isn't she the one who wants to FORCE people to pay premiums?

Just as it is hard to believe the "creating jobs" promises of somebody who helped her husband break his solemn campaign promise to workers to oppose NAFTA.

No wonder she gets the lions' share of her support from old people ....it is very hard for anybody who pays attention and has a functioning memory to trust any promises made by her. All they have to do is review her past behavior and her broken promises and lies of the past., and they will realize that she has no intention of doing anything for anybody but her corporate pals from her ELITE "Renaissance Weekends."

I just hope that there is not the kind of animus in the air that relegates Sen. Clinton's statement a case of "too little, too late." Now that the genie is out of the bottle after waiting so long, how do you get him back in?

Hope.

"... This is an election about whether the people of Pennsylvania hate blacks more than they hate women. And when I say people, I don't mean people, I mean white men. How ironic is this? After all this time, after all these stupid articles about how powerless white men are and how they can't even get into college because of overachieving women and affirmative action and mean lady teachers who expected them to sit still in the third grade even though they were all suffering from terminal attention deficit disorder -- after all this, they turn out (surprise!) to have all the power. (As they always did, by the way; I hope you didn't believe any of those articles.) "

"...a GOP strategist recently told Politico's Roger Simon, as he reports tonight. I have said for months that race is a far bigger factor in the Obama-Clinton contest than most liberals will NOT admit -- a significant number of whites who will not vote for a black man -- and will loom even larger in the general election. Simon says the "prominent" strategist predicted that McCain would get a 15% bump in his direction because of racism in a contest against Obama this fall."
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/greg-mitchell/gop-strategist-says-racis_b_97888.html

McCain WILL beat Clinton by 18% and McCain WILL beat Obama by 33%

Nobody denies that racism is still a real part of our country, but the fact is that there are LESS racists out there than most people think. Most racists are USUALLY the one that wouldn't vote for a democrat anyway because they TEND to be a republican or just don't vote at all. IMHO.
