It's not the first time Chelsea Clinton has dissed her dad to promote her mom's candidacy. During a campaign stop in North Carolina, Chelsea said her mother would be a better president than her father "because she is more prepared and more progressive."

Clinton told about 300 people at Duke University on Tuesday that former President Bill Clinton didn't have a complete grasp of the inner workings of Congress when he took office in 1993.

The former first daughter said her mother, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton, will benefit from her time as a New York senator.

Only last month, Chelsea Clinton was videotaped telling a crowd in Pennsylvania that "I do think she'll be a better president" than my father.

Chelsea is a Clinton, and a Clinton would say and do ANYTHING to get elected.

Tell me what's new.

Now, I am not a fan of the Senator from New York, but I do have to say, Chelsea is speaking the truth. Her mother at least has the fracking sense to never have the American have to read about some stains a President left on someone's clothes.

But that still does mean we deserve better. Mostly of it is the Senator passion for power and disregard for the truth that distrubes me.

roflmao... The same exact thought occured to me with the dress issue. Hillary would have never let it remain... She probably has a Tide stick carried in her purse for such an occasion. If not, then just what kind of a President would she be? After all, one must be prepared for ALL emergencies.

I'm shocked, yet ANOTHER misleading Headline from the Huff Post. You people are worse than Fox News.

You haven't been here long. This is SOP here.

Sad.

I could just hear Bill "Chels, say ANYTHING, I don't care what you have to do we are $200M in the hole to a hell of a lot of people" LOL

Chelsea is an imperious, spolied brat who doesn't have the guts to answer questions from journalists.

She should go back to her overpaid financial services job where she earns money on the backs of the working class people whom her mother pretends to care about.

True dat.

What the Hell makes her opinion even worth weighing? She's a former President's daughter. Being a brain surgeon's daughter would not qualify her to diagnose a neurological disorder. I don't care what she thinks about anything. She's a practically a child - talking about a cheating parent I might add - and I weigh her comments appropriately.

Chelsea is the most refreshing person in this entire campaign. Stop twisting her words and trying to create drama. She loves both her parents, and I'm sure her Dad told her to say that.

I hate to break up the Clinton hatefest but if I say I like steak better than lobster that doesn't mean that I'm "dissing" lobster.

(Mis)spoken like a true Clinton. Chelsea, you're a chip off the old block. Somebody get Bill a blanket. It can get cold under the bus.

Just think what we could look forward to if only Chelsea had been a boy...a political marriage between the Bushes and Clintons, and then move over, Romanovs!

She could hook up with Neil Bush's son, W's nephew, Pierce Bush:

Saying that as a Governor he did not have as good a grasp of Congress as his wife the Senator now does is somehow a "diss"?

OK, Huffpo...ok.

Bill look like he is healing up well, the swelling around the eyes has gone down and he has so color back in his face. Every time Hillary goes down in the rating, those two must beat the living hell out of him.

Does anyone really take Chelsea seriously? Where was she when her mother was telling and re-telling the Bosnian fairytale? Keeping mum for the sake of political expediency, I suppose.

This article should have been titled "Chelsea praises her mother". More anti-Hiliary bias. I realize Huffington Post supports Obama but this sort of misleading headline is more typical for Fox. If Bosnia "fairytail" is the only negative you have, well...

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 07:46 AM on 04/23/2008

"Bosnis fairy tale" is by no means the only negative anyone has on Hillary Clinton.

How about her outrageous and irresponsible threat to use nuclear weapons on Israel, just to name a few.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 11:10 AM on 04/23/2008

Not Israel, Iran, and yes that actually makes the potential danger of "blowback" and risk of inciting even more violence and American hatred in the region much much worse.

the apple doesn't fall far from the tree - she is her mother's daughter -say anything no matter who you hurt to achieve your goal. They must be so proud.

It won't be hard for Hillary to do better. All Bill had was luck - the invention of the Internet and the new markets due to the fall of the USSR.

That is a very misleading article. Chelsea did not diss her Dad. What your article says she did was say that her mother had more experience with congress since she was a Senator. This very type of misleading information is why we are in Iraq, why we have a simple man who is unaware of the carnage he creates, and why there is so much anymosity in the world. I suggest you print a retraction for putting wrong words in Chelsea's mouth. And, I am a Barack fan, but I believe in truth and good faith in press communications. Especially when it comes from Huffington Post. Not good. Not good.

She is saying this to offset the comparison Obama made between himself and Bill Clinton; by "dissing" her father, she is, by the transitive property, really slamming her intended target, Sen. Obama.

This is the strategy to get Sen Clinton in office.

Has Prez Clinton commented?

No.

.......she's right.......Bill Clinton's advisors called in David Gergen (a Republican) to help get the agenda rolling ....because Clintons team didnt understand how things worked in Washington.....in that sense....Hillary WILL be a better president on day one......she understands how the system works .....
