I know. Ron Paul is probably most like Thomas Jefferson, who said, "the government that governs best, governs least."

Don't forget, folks, the far superior Ralph Nader is running, too.

Republicans are still voting for Ron Paul because they see McCain as unacceptable as their nominee. They know that McCain's admitted ignorance on economic matters, and his desire to continue the war in Iraq spell even more disaster for the US if he were to become president. Many of these voters will simply stay home in November.

Still picking up votes. Still running against the odds. I look forward to seeing him speak at the Republican convention in Minneapolis.

Hey! Something in Huffpost about Ron Paul! I thought that, in reading the blogs that we had only three choices for our new "Leader": (1) a crazed war-hungry McCain prepackaged with that "On to Iran" Zionist Lieberman, (2) another round of Hillbillys in the White House, (3) or a fellow who gets a lot of media noise but no one knows quite anything about except he is devoted to "change" (of what nature is left unclear). Ron Paul? Who's Ron Paul? You mean he is actually a candidate? That he wants us out of Iraq NOW? That he he wants a nation based upon its actual Constitution and not upon the dictates of such as Bush, Cheney, or the neocons? That he wants actual money based upon something more than the promises, paper, and the printing press of the Federal Reserve? Are you crazy? Vote for (1), (2), or (3). You can't lose: more war will be paid with more blood and more money.

I'm guessing thats the ANTI-War Vote. Nice to see they are some republicans NOT fooled by the straight talk nonsense. When you vote for a guy who has no chance of winning you are clearly stating your hatred of the guy who has a good chance of winning.

How do you explain the Huckabilly voters?
Do they hate the guy with a "good" chance of winning *and* the guy with no chance of winning?

He had a good chance of winning if he had enough MSM exposure...if it wasn't full of lies and mis truths to confuse little sheep who can't think.

You've got my vote if Hillary does not make it. There is just something about Barrack i do not trust. He can easily be read through that smooth demeanor by watching and listening to his wife. A woman's intuition.

Umm, well I won't vote for him if Barack is not the nominee, but I will just stay home. Guess it amounts to the same thing, huh?

How do you know? Do you have a crystal ball? Last I heard, John McCain is still the "presumed" republican nominee, and the republican national convention is still more than four months away.

Good to see Ron Paul surface again on the Huff Po. To bad he brings out the stupids on this board. He has a lot to teach.

ITs called a grass roots candidate doing a lot better than he should considering the MSM coverage that out right lies about him. Idiots who believed it and never voted for him will be proven in the future to have dropped the ball big time.

Well thats because of the total silence of MSM. We were able to do what we did with mostly NO coverage at all on MSM. If Ron was supported on the media he would be the one winning and so would America. Its too bad blind partisans can't see through the MSM bull crap.

I saw RuPaul several times ranting like a nutcase at debates on the MSM.
I imagine other people did as well.
So, I guess your absurd point is that all those Republicans that choose not to vote for your wonderful Republican candidate are "blind partisans".
You should realize that those of us that are not registered Republicans were not involved in his demise.

He voted against the Patriot Act and the Iraq war at a time when that was the most unpopular thing a Texas republican congressman could do. That's why I support him.
