James Carville: Barack Obama "Hides Under The New York Times Editorialists' Skirt"

Clintonite James Carville appeared on "Anderson Cooper 360" Wednesday night along with Paul Begala to talk about the race between Clinton and Obama following Hillary's victory in Pennsylvania. The always colorful and quote-worthy "Mouth of the South," who earlier in the evening had appeared on Larry King Live to continue his catfight with Bill Richardson over Carville's "Judas" comment, began knocking Obama for "running away" from the Michigan and Florida delegate question, as well as the call for more debates. He then pushed the issue further by adding, "And we have big problems in this country. You can't go hide under the New York Times editorialists' skirt every time something happens and expect them to come out and do your fighting for you," he said, referring, presumably, to the Times' Wednesday editorial blaming Clinton for running a "mean, vacuous, desperate" campaign. But as blacks learned more about her (Goldwater Girl....Against Civil Rights Act of '64...etc.) combined with her LBJ statements and Bill's minimizing of Obama (fairy tale...Jesse won S.Carolina too...etc) blacks were shocked...and then incredibly offended by these revelations to a degree that can never be recovered. WE FEEL DECEIVED !!!! We hope that our friends of all races understand how we as blacks feel. This is the main story that needs to get out to the superdelegates. Even though Obama has legally and morally won the nomination, since Hillary won't concede the race she must be held to the same standard of winning in North Carolina (a state tailor made for Obama) as Obama was held to in Penn. (a state tailor made for Hillary). Obama did what he set out to do AGAIN, and held Hillary to a single digit win (9.2) ... which was a pitiful showing for Hillary given her 20 point lead going in, her home state advantage and the state democratic machine backing her. In most of Obama's wins he's blown her out of the water. Let's see Hillary win North Carolina or hold Obama to a single digit win.
