The third-ranking Democrat in the House of Representatives and one of the country's most influential African-American leaders sharply criticized former President Bill Clinton this afternoon for what he called the former president's "bizarre" conduct during the Democratic primary campaign.

Representative James E. Clyburn, an undeclared superdelegate from South Carolina who is the Democratic whip in the House, said that "black people are incensed over all of this," referring to a series of statements that Mr. Clinton has made in the course of the heated race between his wife, Senator Hillary Clinton, and Senator Barack Obama.

After Hillary lost S.C. Karl Rove and other right wing haters suggested Hillary go negative. She has reached some success with this tactic, but the party and country are poorer.

All these campaigns are playing the race card when it fits their needs. This is totally diengenious on Clyburn's part, support Obama if you want to but quit blaming the Clinton's for all of these race problems. Race is always at the forefront of what we do and having a black candidate maskes it more of an issue.

If you are a Hillary supporter and not supporting Obama then you are divisive and ruining the Democratic Party. If you are a super delegate and not supporting Obama then you are not representing the wishes of the people. If you do not see the messiah in Obama then you are delusional. If you are belong to media and are not writing good things about Obama then you are a biased. If you are not voting for Obama because of his Uncle Wright"s "God Damn America" comment then you do not understand the race history. The rest join us in the holy kingdom of Obama where we will all be united and the sky will open, the light will come down, celestial choirs will be singing, the world will be a perfect place and for the first time you all will be proud of America.

If you are not black and do not support Obama then you are a RACIST. If you are black and do not support Obama, you will go to hell for not supporting your brother. If you are young and a college student and do not support Obama, you are a moron. We the progressive thinkers and believers in hope and change do not want talk to you.If you are female and do not support Obama then you are a feminist. If you are old and do not support Obama then you are from the old school of thought. If you are old women and are not voting for Obama then you are typical white lady who is scared of a black guy walking across the street, we will throw you under the bus.If you are a Christian and do not support Obama, then you are a Religious Bigot. If you are a Mexican and do not support Obama, then you are a blood sucking illegal immigrant. If you are a film star and do not support Obama, then you are out of touch. If you are not supporting because of his statements in the press and you think that he is a liar, then you are a fool, because he is far too intelligent for our race.If you are a blue collar worker and do not support Obama, then you are bitter and you cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren"t like them.

It may strike some as ironic that the racializing should be coming from a black candidate's campaign and its supporters. But this is an American presidential campaign--and there is a long history of candidates who are willing to inflame the most deadly passions in our national life in order to get elected. Sadly, it is what Barack Obama and his campaign gurus have been doing for months--with the aid of their media helpers on the news and op-ed pages and on cable television, mocked by "SNL" as in the tank for Obama. They promise to continue until they win the nomination, by any means necessary.

"Race is always at the forefront of what we do..."

And that is an American tragedy. As a 60 year old white female ex-American with roots in Missouri, Kentucky, and Virginia, I've watched with hope that race would not be "at the forefront" of the contest for the Democratic nomination. The Clintons and their followers are making every effort to ensure that it is.

Clyburn is on point. Clinton will lose OH, ILL, and MI without overwhelming support in the AA community.

I reside in the suburbs of Cleveland, OH., the anti Hillary buzz is proliferating.

I'm glad that Clybourn spoke out even if belatedly. Democratic Party will have to decide which constituency it will throw under the bus--older white women or African Americans and young people. There is an assumption that African Americans will remain loyal to the Democratic Party no matter the circumstances. Emphasis has been paid to polling data showing that many Clinton supporters would vote for McCain rather than Obama. These same polls show smaller defections by AA; however, polling data has been generally inaccurate with regard to the African American community. Based on anecdotal data, many African Americans will sit this one out or vote for McCain if it is perceived that the nomination was stolen from Obama.

Obama's candidacy is as significant and as important to many of his supporter as is Clinton's to hers. Among the messages for many BO supporters: If Obama with his stellar credentials can be racial swiftboated within his own party and has perhaps reached the glass ceiling for African American politicians, should the average child of color be taught to aspire to his or her dreams?

Typically those who argue that we should come together in the end no matter who the nominee is focus on Supreme Court selections; this is just too remote a concern in many communities of color. So again the Democratic party has a dilemna.

Let"s boot them right out of the party!

Obama has played by the agreed-upon rules from the start. Hiliary believes in changing the rules anytime it suits her. She's become more and more selfish, phony, and despicable! Her games are right out of the Republican playbook. Come payback time, voters nationwide will finally give her and Bill the boot! Because of their nerve, wasting our time with this nonsense, we ought to boot them right out of the party.

Elect Obama and we'll see no more of the Clinton, her senate colleagues are waiting to welcome her home with long knives. Senate majority Reid who was earlier in Hillary's corner has discovered the serpent she is, she thinks she could get his job, after a failed attempt at the presidency. Reid wants no more of her and the Speaker hates Hillary and so do most of the Democratic leaders.

We notice you. You're important. Really important. Just endorse Obama, stop the pretense and take a long lunch... before you make a complete jerk of yourself.

"THE FOULMOUTHED & LYING CLINTONS

by
Reinhold Aman, Ph.D.
Millions of Americans still admire Bill and Hillary Clinton, whose habitual lies, gutter language, anti-Semitic outbursts, and anti-black slurs have been documented by reliable writers but which have been -- and still are -- routinely suppressed by the liberal media. This article serves to counter and expose that shameless misleading of the public about the true character of America's two supreme actors and how they talk in private.

Larry Patterson confirmed that he frequently heard Bill Clinton use "nigger" to refer to both Jesse Jackson and local Little Rock black leader Robert "Say" McIntosh. Longtime Clinton paramour Dolly Kyle Browning corroborated Patterson on Clinton's use of "nigger." "Not only did he use the 'N' word, he called him a 'GDN' [goddamn nigger], if you catch my drift," Browning told Fox News in 1999. [NewsMax, 17 July 2000] Brown also told NewsMax that the president would regularly make derogatory comments about African-Americans in private. "He has used the 'N' word before. Bill would make snide remarks about blacks behind their backs." [Carl Limbacher and NewsMax Staff, 17 July 2000]

Patterson said Hillary was no stranger to the "N" word either. He heard her say "nigger" "probably six, eight, ten times. She would be upset with someone in the black community and she would use the 'N' word, like, you heard they've got the president's brother on tape using the 'N' word." [NewsMax, 17 July 2000]

We can expect another Clinton surrogate to remind everyone that Obama is a black american and that's why he is winning the race. Ferraro did it, another one did it a few weeks ago (don't remember his name). I'm waiting for another one of Clinton's supporter to declare much the same thing very soon. It's not racism, it's simply a political tactic. They want to show that he's is less electable because of the color of his skin.

The man entered politics because of the injustice he has faced and we face everyday. He's willing to try and change the playing field because it's the right thing to do...He still believes in justice! Imagine that?

When he was going through his impeachment problems, it was the black community that bellied up to the bar," Mr. Clyburn said. "I think black folks feel strongly that that this is a strange way for President Clinton to show his appreciation."

Clyburn is learning the hard way about the Clintons. They are only loyal to themselfs. They care about no one they usev the most despicable tactics . They are out to 'Break Obama " they will lie [they are well practiced at it} and play the race card . This is really a test on the Democratic party if they allow the Clintons " win dirty " they should disban. The choice is clear is this the party of FDR; JFK; and Harry Trumen or of Andrew Johnson the only other president to be impeached and Billary Clinton

Thank you

I was young then, but from what i remember, the black community was behind Clinton. We knew he was running the country well depsite Monica or his lying to the American people about it

My mother never thought it was right for him to lie or cheat, but she didnt think he should've gotten impeached for it either

Bill is always talkin about the race card being played but you cant play it if it isnt dealt to you

So in other words, he should just shut his trap and stop thinking that black people are stupid enough to vote for him just because he is black. We wouldnt vote for Jesse, Condi, or Al. This is a candidate who has what it takes to be the next president and we love it.

Exit Polls in PA said that 56% of Hillary voters said race mattered while on 28% said race did on Obama side
