A civilian ship contracted by the U.S. military fired warning shots at two small boats approaching it in the Persian Gulf, the U.S. Navy said Friday, describing the latest of a string of similar incidents that have triggered concern in Washington.

War with Iran? With what? Hitler thought he could win a two front war. Does Bush think he can win a three front war? I think Commander in Chief Queeg has really lost his marbles if he thinks that will work.

Hitler had not perfected the mega-weapons necessary to asymmetrically shift the balance through the use of overwhelming technology. The only thing presently preventing the United States from practicing population obliteration is dwindling public resistance and international opposition. Both are being negated and eroded at a logarithmically progressive rate. We've regressed to naked balance-of-power diplomacy. The Russians are presently scrambling to counter-act the coming multi-national ascendency. The Chinese are presently angling to co-opt that ascendency. In both cases I contend the multi-nationals will consume the national entities involved just as they are presently consuming the United States of America. Bush and the carefully selected proxies yet to be served to the American public in imitation of legitimate political process are merely enablers in the deconstruction of this Nation, of the People, by the People and for the People; which, at our present rate of devolution, will not; much longer, endure.
